Yeah Callum's showed an engine at the level he's been fighting, Groves has been fighting at a much higher class. It remains to be seen what Callums like when he moves up in levels... not saying he doesn't have an engine by any means, seems like the lad will have it all (top talent) but it still remains to be seen against tougher opposition. Groves has done 12 with Degale, 12 with Euro champ Rebrasse whilst throwing near on 1000 shots and both Froch fights with Froch went into the last 3rd. I hope they move Smith along at the right pace, mentioning putting him in with Groves right now is daft. I hope they don't rush him or likewise move him on too slowly.
Can you add a poll to this thread, would be interested to see how general forum votes. If the fight happens in 12 months I would fancy Smith.
Out with Froch who he never got into last quarter of fight with Groves has been fighting at a higher level but not much higher. Like most people I had DeGale beating him, again Groves faded as fight went on. I had DeGale by 1 round by the way. Groves throw 911 punches v Rabrasse
I am still not sold on C Smith at all yet, but wish him well, just cant yet understand the hype. It could be a big domestic fight, but I would favour Groves to win by KO early, in a real man against boy fight
