1. There was no great fighter in the right condition on fight night. The only legitimate 'great' fighters on Floyd's resume are Marquez, De La Hoya and Mosley - but they all seized to be the great fighters we know them to be going into fight night because they were many years past prime or in bad condition.

2. Mayweather is a Top 50 ATG. Sugar Ray Robinson is a Top 50 ATG too. Harry Greb is my personal GOAT, he is also a Top 50 ATG. I'm not sure you know basic math logic. I was heavily involved in the Classic section's Top 100 under a different username 2 years ago. Checking out that place is a good place to start - Mayweather does have a lot of competition.

3. I stated already that it's not Floyd's fault that Marquez wasn't in good shape, but nevertheless it DOES take away from the quality of the win. That's indisputable.

4. For Mosley it was a great win because Mosley fought Oscar in 2000 and in 2003. By the way, Oscar-Mosley 2 is known as one of the biggest robberies of all time with the overwhelming majority of decent boxing posters scoring the fight 8-4 Oscar in the fight where Mosley was busted after for taking steroids.
Pacquiao beat a shot, drained, skeleton Oscar De La Hoya and I give Pacquiao absolutely no credit for that win.

Your ***** paranoia has got you imagining words that I did not say. when you stated 'but when Floyd beats him different story.' 'You admitted Shane peaked against margarito'. This is one of the most annoying parts of speaking to dumb *****'s/dumb *******s.


5. Shane did not 'peak' against Margarito, Shane's last showing was against Margarito after years of not looking that impressive. That's what tends to happen with great fighters in their careers, it's a known phenomenon. 'The last hurrah' is usually the term given to it. You also were in too much denial to remember that I basically said 'the Floyd-Mosley fight was a huge 15 months after Mosley's performance against Margarito - 15 months for an ageing offensive fighter is HUGE'.
Mosley's best performance wasn't Margarito. Mosley was the monster we recognise him for now, 10 years before he fought Mayweather.


6. In my opinion Rigondeaux is the best fighter today on a H2H level. He's not as proven, but from what I've seen of Rigondeaux, he is better but not greater. They're two different things. Anyway, Lomachenko has the potential to be even better than Rigondeaux, and a future ATG so maybe that fight can happen and we could get to see these two guys face off.

Rigondeaux is greater than Floyd on the amateur level, just to throw it out there. Amateur boxing is a different branch of the same sport.

About as fair of a post regarding this topic I've seen. I personally think that he hasn't lost a fight but aside from that I agree with everything.

Credit where credit is due, he had fought plenty of good/really good competition and only struggled in about 4/47 of his fights, but he is lacking a PRIME PAC and always will.

 

I've been saying this for a while now.. You guys don't dislike Floyd, you dislike people who like Floyd.. It's like people who like the iPhone vs people who like Samsung.. There are less Floyd haters than you guys know.. Some have been undercover too long though and transformed into that character.. So sad...

 

He hasn't really done anything.... he's earned but hasn't done anything to make it.

 

Pacquiao has never reached out or extended an offer.

 

Rigo is the best technician not fighter not named Mayweather... other than that I see a lot of bias here. Want more all you want but what you get is a champion who's persevered. Kinda like KB24 ! For 15 years you couldn't compare him to anybody in the sport at the the time. All they could compare him to was MJ ! Same with Money... His greatness is so far beyond this era of the sport.. And JLC I don't mean ****... Josie pistol whipped his ass and he had no right hand or shoulder and still put Castillo on the floor which the refs called a slip... LOL.... You've detailed absolutely nothing of significance which details any reasoning to deny his skillset the ample respect he's due... And that re$pect is what drives the sport as well as Mayweather. Deal with it Dude ! he's had this success for a reason and his unequivocal boxing greatness is certainly the major piece of the whole body of work which = Top 10 ATG EVER in his Career !

Mayweathers record - 47-0.. Maidana didn't come close to winning the 1st fight. Ant sane referee would've DQ'd him. Groin shots and chest kicks aren't part of the sport last time I checked... And Maidana got picked off in the middle of the ring for 7 rounds straight ..

2007 version of ODLH was in the best shape of his life since the 1999.... And had never boxed better that decade. Never !
