Paul Smith taking on Arthur Abraham this weekend. It would be a big upset if he wins and surprised to most. Which Brit winning a world title surprised you the most?

He's right up there. I never saw him as a two weight title holder for sure.

Billy why are you always mentioning this, yes he was the best in the UK but thats his level. When he fought someone decent at world level he lost.

+1 for Lloyd Honeyghan, though it was more who he beat to win the title rather than the fact that he won it.

That probably the most surprising of my lifetime, but I wasn't old enough to remember it.

because you simply don't have a clue mate, who do you know personally that's had 10 world title fights?
Ask ANY boxer in the country if Ricky is average and they'd look at you as if your a dafty seriously get real pal, or take up a sport you have some form of understanding of please

Why do I have to know someone Billy, your talking nonsense.

When you talk about the greats at LW i.e Duran, Whitaker, Mosely, Castillo......

Burns was average compared to these guys

It was a surprise that Steve Robinson was even fighting for a world title, never mind winning it. Remarkable turn of events and career turnaround.
