I would also short list Jock MCavoy as contender for top ten. He brutally beat up middleweight world champion Ed 'Babe' Risko in a non title bout at Madison Square Garden. The first round destruction of the champ ended his chances of getting a legit shot at the title. He then campaigned at light heavy. He was as big a puncher as any middle Britian has produced with the exception of Fitzsimmons and maybe Benn.

Calzaghe never fought as a middleweight,Reid had 15 fights anywhere near 160lbs ,out of a total of 51 fights and never met anyone of any note at the weight. O Malley who he? China Brain Joe =TROLL.

By the same standards Eubank only had about 4 "world title" fights at 160. Mostly pretty mickey-mouse ones at that. Should he be classed as a middleweight at all - never mind Britains best ever middleweight?

He beat Benn and Watson in world middleweight title fights. Benn in one round beat Barkley who had arguably just beaten Duran and Nunn, and Eubank against Watson looked better than McCallum had for the first nine rounds.

Rubbish. Watson clearly won the 3rd, 4th and 6th making it 50\50 going into the 2nd half of the fight. When Watson finds his range, he lands a ridiculous amount of right hands and forces McCallum back.

The 1st Eubank-Watson was easy, comfortable domination from Eubank in the 1st half.

Correct Bulldog! The McCallum-Watson fight was back and forth for 11 rounds.
McCallum even said Watson was one of his hardest fights because Watson was soo strong.

McCallum was a classy gracious guy. He said the same thing about other opponents eg Steve Collins. He was well over Watson though - outboxed him pretty easily as I recall...
