It would take Floyd 2-3 rounds max to adapt to Khan, and start timing him.

Khan has too many flaws to beat Floyd.

I think Kahn has the best chance out of Floyds last 5 or 6 opponents to win. Tall, fast, has range and punches in combos. He also seems quite big at this weight. Kahn does seem to fight nervously sometimes, punching in set combos and not really setting things up sometimes and can run out of steam at the end. Can easily be taken off his game plan too. I think "glass chin" is overstating things a bit and I don't think it would be that much of a factor in a fight against Mayweather. If Mayweather Ko'd Kahn, it would be more from an accumulation of punches than from a single punch, probably a TKO / controversial early stoppage by the ref. Not counting the Ortiz sucker punch, when was the last time Floyd Ko'd anyone? Seven years? Right now though I think Kahn is in danger of not being busy enough lately. How many fights has he had in the last 2 years? A 100% Kahn could win, but it won't be easy. 60 / 40 fight in Mayweathers favor.

Post JLC II opponents who had opportunities they couldn't capitalize on:

    1. Shane Mosley missed the best opportunity to win..

2.JMM working PBF's body was the most stellar body work I've ever seen against PBF and JMM didn't win a round on my card... Better shot than Maidana.

3.Zab Judah's inconsistency derailed a great opportunity to stop Mayweather but he didn't quite have the ring generalship..

    4. Maidana I - "Not enough Moxy" to quote Box Nation....

    5. ODLH - You gotta hit something Oscar....

    6. Phillip Ndou - Gave his all til he went down !

    7. Arturo Gatti - Punching Arturo in the head and face affected PBF's hands for the next 2 fights but Gatti was so busy getting rocked he never noticed...

You realize that a) Khan isn't faster than or even as fast as Mayweather (in terms of single-punch hand-speed, never mind the illusion created by Khan throwing flashy combos and Mayweather usually being more of a pot shot artist) and b) even if he was as fast that alone doesn't equate to a stylistic advantage or even spelling "problems" for Mayweather if every other category - punching technique/accuracy/timing, defense, chin, etc - is edged by Mayweather...right?

And nobody thought this until Floyd "ducked" Khan. Genius. Now he can make it look like he reluctantly took the fight in May and break 1m PPVs.

People say that Khan has never been outboxed, as if Malignaggi, Judah, and Kotelnik are some master boxers.

They also talk about Khan's power. Please. Let's not act like Khan is some WW version of George Foreman. His power is slightly above average at best. Floyd has fought much, MUCH harder punchers than Khan.

Mayweather is an elite quality fighter nightmare matchup for Khan.

Mayweather is a "has real skills and ring intelligence" nightmare matchup for Khan.

This is great....now after Mayweather fights Khan and outclasses him, Floyd's supporters will act like it's some great win because of threads like these.

Because he beat Amir Freaking Khan.

Khan outboxed him in the amateurs?

WHO GIVES A **** ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS IN THE AMATEURS????

The amateurs and the pros might as well be different sports, they're so different.

Success in the amateurs doesn't mean **** in the pro ranks. There are countless fighters who were standout amateur stars, yet failed to make it in the pros.
