Khan has been stopped twice and both times by big punchers. I agree he is chinny but he is not going to get stopped unless a big puncher lands a bomb. Floyd might score a knock down but I doubt Floyd will stop Khan.

    :patsch

That means as much as Khan's pro victory over Barrera.

Kindelán a) was 34 to Khan's 19, b) had retired from amateur boxing a year earlier, and c) beat Khan twice, comprehensively while still a regularly active boxer. (and those were at the end of his legendary career as well)

So capping off a 'trilogy' with a 1-2 record over a rusty, old, retired amateur great who already beat him twice in the pair of contests that actually meant anything between them means fairly little for Khan. Good name on his amateur resume, sure, but so is Barrera on his pro ledger and when you scratch beneath the surface of either, not much substance there.

does anyone else find it funny that very few people think Khan can even beat Josositto Lopez yet he's the antidote to Floyd Mayweather lol you can't make this stuff up.

They also say that Floyd might have to be the aggressor in a Khan fight, or something to that effect.

Floyd can be the aggressor. He was the aggressor against Mosley.

Did you see the full fight? because I suggest you watch round 10 for a start... Referee saved Khan, also considering Maidana had a point deduction the cards were rather close. Khan did not dominate that fight.

Also comparing that Maidana to todays is not fair. Maidana has improved a huge amount from that fight and Khan has improved in a couple of departments too.

I ask any Khan fan to answer this...

Forget Mayweather, What has Khan done at WW to justify any title shot?

What about Andrade? Tall, rangy, fast southpaw who can box and has a good jab.

Khan went life or death with Julio Diaz two fights ago, infact was dropped and wobbled a few times in that fight. I repeat.... Julio Diaz.

Have we entered some sort of Khan Twilight Zone? He seems to improve by NOT fighting on this site.

Avoided Alexander because he thought Alexander was a "Risk" and yet beats Mayweather with ease according to many people on here.

Khan have never avenged any defeat, has been dropped or badly buzzed on many occasions and has no intention of fighting a top 10 WW anytime soon unless he gets a undeserved payday against Mayweather.

Please get a f**king grip. Look, Khan may well go on to do great things at WW but I do not think he has justified a title shot at WW, forget Mayweather.

Khan and his fans are trying to pull a mere con on everybody. It's obvious Khan would lose .

The pitty pat puncher that had Maidana dropped from a body shot and hurt more than once?

How many times did Mayweather drop & blatently hurt Maidana again?

    okay then.

People don't even think Khan can beat Alexander and his style is similar. Alexander-Maidana looked a lot like Mayweather-Maidana II, 1st off a better trainer for Maidana could be a key part in Maidana's success also the thing Alexander did that allowed him to control Marcos was that he clinched every time Maidana got inside, in fight I Mayweather didn't clinch at all really, in fight II he tied Maidana up which resulted in a easier fight.

sometime I wonder do people watch these fights Maidana has been competitive vs everyone he's fought Mayweather-Maidana I was a 7-5 MD, Khan-Maidana was a draw that Khan won because a point deduction and knockdown, and Kotelnik-Maidana was a 7-5 SD nobody has dominated him.

how do you bring up Maidana losing to a top level fighter like Alexander 3 yrs ago but ignore Khan struggling with a past prime LW 1/2 fights ago? Real Talk if Khan would have fought Alexander last year and won no one would be crapping on a Mayweather-Khan matchup instead Khan almost got KO'd by shot LW. It's also amazing that last year when Alexander was on a run and had a title people called him a cherry pick yet now it's Mayweather is afraid of fast fighters.

Thats my thinking too, though i have it more 75/25 in Floyds favour though. Theres a lot of people saying khans rubbish, and will obviously point to the Garcia + Prescott ko's theres not many posts naming better opponents though, other than PAC. For the record i think (under 154) the person most likely to beat him is Andrade as he's 6ft 1 with decent power / speed, but with little fan base + him moving up to middleweight for a title, this fight aint happening.

 at Khan having good ring IQ and footwork, and "amazing boxing skills".

Picture someone playing basketball. Frequently when he spins to the hoop or pivots, he travels. Or he is off-balance and not in position to make a high percentage shot or a good pass. His steps are constantly too big or short that he turns the ball over constantly. But his feet move quickly and he can run down the court fast.

Would that player be considered as having good footwork?

Because that is basically the equivalent of Khan's great "footwork".
