Lets look back 6 and 2 years see what progress our olympians have made and what the future holds

    James degale (gold) 19 (13)-1
currently on verge of a world title shot
Future. Think he can win a version of the world title but has been known to box a bit lazy
    Prediction world champ (briefly)

    Frankie Gavin (withdraw) 19 (12)-1
Current. Just been beat in a very close fight for the euro no shame in that as bundu is a high standard euro champ
Future. I think gavin can bouce back from his defeat to have a great career not quite sure if he will win a world title as his weight category is probally the hardest out there
    Prediction Fringe world level/euro champ

    Tony Jefferies (bronze) 10(9)-0-1 (retired)
Disappointing career with injurys ect but now running a gym in LA and doing a bit if modeling can think of worse jobs

    Joe Murray 14 (5)-1
Current lost last time out in a close fight against walsh
Future cant see marray doing much to be honest hes been pro now for over 5 years promotional problems ect havent helped. Back out in November
    Prediction domestic titles

    David Price (bronze) 18 (15)-2
Current signed for sauland promotions going strong until his 2 defeats anainst thompson
Future at 31 as a heavyweight price could still have a very good long career but needs to sort stamina issues esp with a new era of good young heavys
    prediction euro champ

    BJ Saunders 20 (11)-0
Current looking for a world title shot and deserves one beat everyone domestic and euro put infront of him including likes of fletcher osullivan ryder
future I think saunders beats eubank (who I rate highly) then looks to the worls scene at only 25 he still is developing and I think he has a great career
    Prediction world class/world champ

    Bradley Saunders 10 (8)-0
Current beating everyone put infront of him in style but needs to step it up now and stay injury free
Future has the talent to do big things but at 28 and in a red hot division staying injury free is vital
Prediction fringe world level/maybe hold a version of a title

    Kal Yafai 11 (8)-0
Current blasting people away and looking good not sure what can be made of his opponents but done all that can be asked
Futute a fight with paul butler will be on the cards soon and I think Kal will have too much for him both very skilled fighters but with kals power and the way hall stated to get to butler I can see kal hurting him inside the 12
    Prediction world title holder

    Tom Stalker 5 (2)- 0
Current not looked too good as a pro so farbut his fight with jenkins coming up in oct will make or break him
Future like stated above I think if he fails against jenkins I can see him retiring a win against jenkins could see him gain a bit of confidence and progress
    Prediction domestic title

    Anthony Ogogo (bronze) 7 (4)-0
Current to be honest I havent been too impressed so far I feel hes abit slow on his feet and takes too many shots but hes still developing
Future again hes had a fair share of injurys as a am he had a big shoulder op ect and as a pro had a few niggling injurys keeping him out of action
Future Euro /fringe world depending on improvement

    Anthony Joshua (gold) 8 (8)-0
Current knocking everybody out and looking big fast and powerful everything you could ask from him up to now
Future with not much amatuer experience he did extremely well and the way hes devolping he could be a real force in the heavyweight division once the klitchkos retire
    Future world class world champ

    Luke Campbell (gold) 8 (6)-0
Current beating everyone in style and looking stronger everytime, Britain's most successful am ever he has all the skills footwork speed accurate to do well
Future going to be tough in a hot lighweight division but I think luke can go on to great things starting next month v Brizuela
    Prediction world class world champ

not sold on luke campbell to be honest, he's quite old ( for an 8 fight novice) i'm happy to be proved wrong but can't see him getting beyond euro level, maybe fringe world level.

He's got good speed and power.. but gets hit too often.. I hope he's got an iron chin to go with the skills etc.

Just watching his youtube clips he dishes it out but gets hit with power punches.

That's not the same as other fighters getting clipped with punches every now and then.

Sometimes he takes it flush etc.

Hes been hit with about 2 or 3 decent shots in his full 8 fights so far.

Someone like Khan has a good defence.. it's just trying to make 135 and 140 for most of his career.

Muhammad Ali and Floyd Patterson and Jesse Owens etc were a bit before their times anyway.

They paved the way to true human games.

Plus Val Barker don't mean **** if Jirov and not Wlad or Floyd Mayweather winning it etc.

Take Alexander "won everything as an amateur" Povetkin.

He couldn't even get past the quarters in Belfast 2001.
