What's the option ? Pac isn't that guy... GGG and half the middles are a much tougher fight. Floyd not gonna struggle against little guys...

I mean even if he did fight Pac it just adds to what one would assume is another guy not in his prime. So, why that fight Z? why not GGG or Thurman or Lara for that matter...

Or maybe, floyd should quit with his gazillion demands and fight pacquiao instead of the slow come forward plodders that he likes to cherry pick.

Maybe Manny should learn how to negotiate and promote his own fights, maybe Manny should "wake up" and realize that 40 million is more than 6 million

I would guess, Philippine theater ticket sales for this fight would get 2.5-4mil at 12 bucks = 30mil - 48mil. plus the Phil PPV.

Floyd could potentially be able to pay Pac with the Philippine revenue alone.

    40mil flat fee = I don't want the fight.

Yes Top Rank came across far more poorly during that stretch of negotiations/non-negotiations. You mentioned the cut and stadium, but there was also the instance of Arum acting like it was an utter mystery whether Mayweather was represented by Haymon.

Also in the immediate aftermath of the Marquez fight at the end of 2011, Bob was swearing that he "owed it" to Marquez and the Mexican people to give him the rematch first (never mind the fact that they would ultimately fight a comparative non-draw in Bradley instead). Schaefer even said that the judge who mediated the first negotiations delivered a message from Top Rank that they weren't interested in pursuing the fight at that point in time.

Of course they never wanted it. Even Ray Charles could see that.

Some people keep saying that, but can't point to a single instance where he lifted a finger in an attempt to make it happen. Judging by their actions, Mayweather has appeared to want the fight far more than Pacquiao has, and I don't believe he wants it either. To blame either one and not the other for this fight not taking place is totally asinine given all that's taken place. :nono

im basing that on everyones individual history. floyd and arum are bald faced liars, while i believe pac is genuine in his beliefs and statements. its not a fanboy thing, its experience dealing with liars and cheats.

Six pages in and still not a single legitimate example of Pacquiao lifting a single finger to try to make this fight happen... Just a bunch of weak insults and whining about Mayweather.

This clown is always going around spouting nonsense about wanting to make the fights that the fans want to see and his idiotic fanbase actually believes him despite all the evidence to the contrary, but I don't. Judge him by his actions and you won't either unless you've got your head up his ass. :deal

I've seen enough to know that he's about as genuine in his beliefs and statements as the next politician. In other words he's completely full of ****. :deal
