Announcing a fight before it is actually signed and selling tickets

I suggest you look at the history of that Promoter and the BBB of C's legal skirmishes. The Board's record is worst than Eric Crumble's.

 

From what ive seen i dont think F****** intentionally tried to scam people with this fight but defo agree that some regulation should be bought in to ban any ticket sales before at least the main event is fully signed

This is the sort of thing I thought only happened here..in Ireland.
Recently a music promoter here sold hundreds of thousands of tickets to a whole series of Garth Brooks concerts. (Garth brooks, I know, I know!!)

The concerts didn't have permission and never went ahead....

 

I thought his matchmaking in the Brett Beadon fight was bad enough now this? Why would anyone sign with Warden, I'm cancelling boxnation Warden is a see you next tuesday

If Eubank didn't sign for the fight, why was he promoting and basically confirming the fight on Twitter?

Eubank Jr has pulled out and ****** isn't too blame.

As for Wilder-Chisora, Deontay himself said that the deal was done but he then had some visa problems.

I am starting to understand why some people want that TV channel to fail.

I do not think this could happen in any other sport without some sort of punishment, announcing a match, selling tickets knowing it is not signed and sealed. As said above the BBBofC have to start clamping down on this sort of thing.

At the very least you should be able to get a full refund on tickets if you bought them for BJS Vs Eubank Jr. I understand injuries happen and fights are postponed but this was not even signed.

A few people said this would happen on another thread when this was announced, said it was a ticket selling ploy and were shot down as haters.
