This fight, now scheduled is too big not to happen, I'm not fully buying all this non signing of contracts, I think it's more to make Eubank 'the villain' a role he wants to be cast in.The fact is, this fight is massive, for both & all the palarva is just selling tickets & with Fury - Chisora topping the bill on an under selling card, FW will do everything possible to keep the undercard intact, including chief support. As for BJS 'world title if Eubank doesn't come good by 5pm' what is this all about, I've not seen anything further on this? anyone enlighten me?

How is a fighter possibly not signing a contract and therefore the fight going ahead going to sell tickets now? Or are you suggesting them hanging this out will somehow build up the fight and people will rush to buy tickets as a result?

I thought that at first. But then heard the word on the street is eubank is signing with hearn. So now I'm not optimistic at all. Eubank is implying he doesn't wanna sign the contract cause he will be tied to frank ****** for a few fights after if he wins. I don't see a problem with this though cause if he beats Saunders he will basically be gate crashing the world scene. Frank would have him headline a few cards and then after he would be free to sign up with hearn for bigger money. If he goes to sky he is gonna continue on a slow road to a world title but if he beats Saunders he's jumped the que and in the top ten in some of the rankings. He will be going from prospect to contender in one fight. And if he loses its not really a big deal. He will basically still be in the same position he is in now. He will just have to work his way up through the ranks same as he would if he didn't fight Saunders. So he's in a can't loose position here. And hearn would still wanna sign him if he looses just for his name alone

This is a disgraceful **** up by Warrren there are no excuses for him on this one. It is not a bad mark on him if he tried (as he clearly has been) to get the fight on and Eubank refused. That's fair enough just move on nothing more he can do and I think the public would be supportive that he made a genuine effort to get it on etc. But to carry on and sell tickets and call press conferences etc and basically just hope for the best that the Eubanks will sign even if they gave a verbal indication that they would do is a farce and he should have learned from previous lessons.

If you're on the world stage, the last place you'd want to be fighting is on BoxNation.

for once, and i hate to even admit it. Im agreeing Solaris :patsch

But surely they could just change that part of the contract so if Eubank wins, he's free to do what he wants. I dont see the big deal. If ****** want to make the fight, he should just make a few concessions.

tHE PROBLEM WITH GIVING fRANK OPTIONS ,lets SAY ITS FOR 3 FIGHTS , eUBANK WINS , HE OWES fRANK 3 FIGHTS , HE GETS 2 , and Frank then demands he signs another 3 fight option , he says no , and Frank does'nt get him a 3rd. Jnr is tied up cannot move on , and still contracted for a 3rd fight thats not going to happen unless he signs his life away .

This is where lawyers come in and boxers have to be happy ,

Exactly. Although I think that Boxnation will be around for the near future it's pretty clear that as a domestic fighter Sky Sports (or some might even say Channel Five) is the way to go.

FW's clearly given him a purse that far exceeds his current worth in the hope of retaining options on Chris should he win.

If the fight DOESNT now go ahead it will sour a lot of people on Eubers jr for a long time to come. He better think long and hard about this move.

Gotta agree here, with ******s track record the announcement that someone hasn't signed the contract is more likely to get people demanding refunds than rushing to buy tickets, seems fairly obvious really.

    I know!
But the public are a fickle bunch. There's nothing like the bitterness of the betrayed.

Eubank might yet come to regret this fiasco. I dont know if he is intelligent enought to work this out, but I hope he is, and reconsiders pulling out like this. :-(
