After defeating Christopher Rebrasse last weekend, George Groves turned his attention to WBC Super Middleweight Champion Anthony Dirrell, after putting himself in a mandatory position.

    Who wins?

For me, the two exchange knock downs early fireworks in a fight that fizzles out down the stretch but Groves does enough to secure a close decision victory.

Groves for me i would say the current world champions that would beat Groves would be Ward and as we have seen twice froch, i would have him beating both Dirrell and Abraham.

both have looked fairly ordinary in their last 2 fights, (bika x 2, + Froch II + Rebrasse) if its in UK which its likely to be as Dirrell doesn't seem to have much support in USA i think Groves will win on points by throwing more volume.

Which ever wins will be a "paper" champ in my view,

    Think Groves could edge it.

Dirrell is solid, but hes not on the same level of talent as his bro.

He can bang though, so you never know

Direll said firstly, theres no way hes coming to the UK after what happened to his brother and secondly theres no way hes giving Groves a title shot

    Bika is > Rebrasse.

No fighter ever looks great against Bika.

What was Rebrasses's record? 26 fights with 2 KOs and the fight went the distance?

Dirrell breaks British glass Beaker in 8.

froch will probably borrow Mrs. Pacquiao's voodoo doll to assist.

Being that Groves is probably one of the biggest money fights he can realistically get, that attitude seems to indicate he doesn't fancy his chances of beating St George.

he's mandetory, so he'll have to face him within a certain time frame or vacate

the fight imo will go to purse bids, which is likely to be with groves as he can sell 20K + tickets in the UK and have it on Sky.

Is Dirrell advised by Al Haymon? If so there is a good chance he'll vacate. :yep
