    Fair enough and well stated.

A lot of this depends on how one defines the term "All-Time Great". I think if a fighter does enough to establish himself as being one of the Top 50 or so to ever lace up gloves and step inside a ring, you probably qualify for that status.

Personally, I think Mayweather's done enough to earn his place in my Top 50, based on the fact that he's won four lineal championships and defeated the fighter perceived to be his best available opponent in three of the weight classes that he's faced (130, 135, and 154). Not too many fighters in history match those accomplishments.

It would have been nice had he faced Pacquiao circa 2010, and for Mayweather to have engaged in at least one fight in 2008. He didn't, and that lowers his ranking.

But he has faced solid opposition throughout his tenure- and by and large, a better selection of opponents than some all time greats throughout the course of their career. And, had he faced a different selection of opponents, there's a very good chance that he would have been excoriated for avoiding some fighters that he ultimate chose to face. Boxing fans are like that.

I'll respond in greater detail to Man_Machine's post later on. For now, I'll simply state that I agree that Mayweather could have earned a (much) higher ranking on an all time list; but instead of focusing upon what he might have accomplished, I'm content to acknowledge the manner in which he handled the challenges he has faced, thus far.

A, federal judge cancelled floyds jail time, to allow a potential fight right!! And then all of a sudden, the cut needs 6 months to heal!!

No. Floyd had to want the fight and actually be serious about making it happen. HBO and SHO will agree. It's about money at the end of the day and both networks stand to make a killing if they can get Floyd to step up. I'm sure SHO has been pressuring Floyd and I'm sure Floyd has been pushing back with his whole "No one tells me what to do" attitude.

I've been reading a lot of disturbing Pacqauio quotes, and wanted to know if there is any video of him saying these things? Also the tweeter thing doesn't seem to fit his style.

The quote about Maidana winning is a bit silly. Because if you think Maidana won then why not call out Maidana and tell Floyd to kick rocks. I'm sure he know how it feels to be cheated.

I wonder if his team is going behind his back and just talking ****. He's coming off a little desperate and envious

Right like he has time as a senator/boxer/whatever else to challenge the Twitter King Khan for supremacy.

Now that's BS... Arum is working you all. as long as Arum is in the picture... No Fight ! nMoney's goal is to make sure for the 1st time in 50 years Arum ain't apart of the biggest fight ever !!!!! Then it would be a Mayweather victory regardless of who wins or looses the fight...

Are their videos for all these call outs? And all of this **** means nothing if after the Algeri fight he says, "It's up to my promoter"

Calling a fighter out after a victory, looking directly into the camera is how it should be done. Calling a fighter out when you have a fight scheduled is called promo

You guys should discuss Pac's tweets instead of insisting on dissing the fans... That's all you guys do. The OP just asked if it seems legit, at least answer the question or post your opinion too.
