If i wasnt working night shifts, this would be a perfect schedule. Wake up, watch a live fight, get pumped for the day.

This card was indeed supposed to be shown tonight live on Fox Sports 1, but Dan Rafael of ESPN said in his weekly chat today that Fox Sports 1 apparently decided a few weeks ago to drop the card, apparently in order to show a college football game.

I wonder how many folks Moreno and Payano, a Panamanian and a Dominican, can get to go out and buy tickets in Texas. Odd location. No US TV either... All around strange. Not sure if this was a very profitable endeavor from Iron Mike Promotions. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Big Moreno fan here. Anybody giving Payano anything more than the lesser-known-underdog odds against Chemito in this one?

This does not answer your question, but in searching for betting odds on this fight, I found that OddsShark opened the odds for this fight with Moreno the -455 favourite and Payano the +300 underdog. Currently, that site has 5Dimes listing Moreno as only a -240 favourite and Payano as a +200 underdog, and it has Bovada listing Moreno as a -260 favourite and Payano as a +200 underdog.

They decided to not show this, so they could show Old Dominion vs Middle Tennessee State. NICE

I remember somebody picking Marroquin to beat Rigondeaux back before they fought... and they were serious.

Are we going to have to sit through Hatley vs. Gutierrez before the main event too?

    Here's to hoping not...

    ---

Soto's trying in there. Have only been watching off and on so couldn't tell you a score or anything. But he seems to throw his shots pretty hard (his KO ratio of 100% in his 12 wins would indicate that as well). Landed some good stuff toward the middle/last third of round 4... Marroquin committed to moving around constantly and evading well for the most part. Once again, not really watching so don't quote me.
