    Exactly.

With Cotto, Mosley, Marquez, Morales, Barrera being shoes in for the Hall of Fame, and I'd guess Bradley, Hatton and Gennaro Hernadez will one day make it.

I have it PacMan has 11 wins over Hall of Famers, and 1 draw (Cotto, Mosley, Marquez (x2, 1 draw), Morales (x2), Barrera (x2), Bradley, Hatton, De La Hoya), topped of with winning a belt in the most weight classes.

Mayweather has 7 (Gatti, De La Hoya, Cotto, Marquez, Mosey, Hernandez, Hatton). (You can push it to 9 if Castillo and Corrales get in but I'd say they are long shots)

    Pacquiao's achievements > Mayweather's achievement.

marco and erik were not prime when pac beat them, but they were no more shot than oscar and shane when floyd beat them. pacs resume is stronger and more impressive, given the way he was storming through weight divisions taking names.

Although i agree to an extent, I think the fact that he had a two year layoff with no tune up, fighting the No.2 guy in the fashion that he did it in, then that kinda evens things out slightly. His weight thing was bs but a few extra pounds is hardly worth scrapping that fight from your credibility pile

A 130 pound Floyd would have whooped both of them.

Agreed.....Manny has to take charge at this point if he's going to get this fight. He's always said it's up to Bob but that's not going to cut it, obviously.

Pacquioa beating Barrera in that first fight is as good as Floyds best win against Corrales.

However over their entire careers Pacquioa's resume is so much stronger.

Im high as ****, and Im just imagining how it would look like if the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight WERE to somehow happen. And wow I just got so excited right now just to know how awesome the hype going to up to the fight would be. And just the feeling of seeing these two fighters finally face to face

The term 'All Time Great' for me is used a little too loosely, I tend to think 'is someone going to be celebrating their achievements 50, 60, 70 years from now', like a Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, Willie Pep etc, will they just fall into the pack of great fighters, and for me both Pacquiao and Mayweather rate way behind Hopkins.

Hopkins is probably the consensus top 5 Middleweights of All time, holds the record for how long he held that title for, and number of defenses, plus since there has been 4 belts in the division he was the first and only man (I think of any weight class :huh) to unify all 4.

Add on top of that he moved up and won the lineal Light Heavyweight title and broke Foreman's record as oldest man to win a title. (If Hopkins can unify a second division that will be something really special).

I also think history will be kinder to Pacquiao than Mayweather.

Assuming who get's in the Hall of Fame I think will get in that aren't in already (Cotto, Mosley, Marquez, Barrera, Morales, Ricky Hatton, Tim Bradley and Gennaro Hernandez), I make Pacquiao 11-3-1 against Hall of Fame opposition and Mayweather 7-0, you can break down each of those individually but it does suggest Pacquiao has fought a greater standard of opposition, and Pacquiao has set a record for number of belts won in different weight classes.

Supposedly the two of them have never actually met even off camera.
