This statement assumes that I weigh in heavily at all on either side of the debate. That assumption is mistaken.

No one has created a thread saying how underwhelmed they are by Pacquiao in recent times. If someone were to create a thread attacking Pacquiao in the same manner and discounting his accomplishments in an unfair manner, I would likely respond in a similar fashion as I did in this thread.

I was wondering if I was getting his argument confused... His first reply was that Floyd is getting overpaid because he risked his life.... I tried to refute that by saying that is not the reason he gets paid so much... Then he started going on about how he gets paid because of his marketing and such, which is the point I was trying to make, not because he risks his life...

I would be more impressed with Pacquiao had he beat Junior Jones instead of MAB, and Zahir Raheem (who Pac ducked) instead of Morales.
