He won't get tha fights he wants. The other 175 lbs fighters will avoid him like plague. Stevenson Pascal Hopkins Kovalev Bute Brähmer :think
Pascal is his sparring partner and has been for a while I doubt they'd fight. Beterbiev beat silakh and kovalev in the ammys. and he's HUGE a domestic fight vs stevenson would be huge (beterbiev lives in canada now)
Pascal said his neck was hurting for about a week after their spared for the first time. When asked if Beterbiev was ready for Cloud: " No doubt he is ready!".
One thing was strange tonight. After the fight the fight, Yvon Michel said that, Pascal wouldn't fight beterbiev cause...he's with us!!! WTF!!!lol.
Beterbiev should get the belt at 175 and move to cruiser. However, at 200 he should aviod Usyk, who schooled him twice in 2011-2012.
The first fight was not close, the second fight was because for some inexplicable reason Usyk decided not to box or move at all he just stood right in front of him and fight him at his own game.
The only real reason Hopkins will probably not fight him are simply because; 1. He has nothing to offer Hopkins 2. Hopkins is at the end of his career. After he unifies, he'll most likely retire.
He's a natural Cruiser. He should move up in a year or so. Lots of fights for him there. Lebedev Drozd Huck Afolabi Wlodazcyk Hernandez Chakiev
Beterbiev probably makes thrice the money staying at '75. He also lives in Canada and CW is completely dominated by Europeans, he'd need a lot of time to get to the top. I see him stick at his weight for a very long time even though he appears a little drained at weigh-ins. After 6 fights he's already on everybody's radar and a possible title shot next year is very likely. Has Bute, Pascal and Stevenson all in his weight class. He would be a complete idiot to jump to Cruiser
