This is the problems with so many bull**** belts. The spin your putting on beating broner is a bit much, he's a decent fighter but may have been beat by a worse version of the guy khan knocked out he was fortunate to get the nod. maidana beating him was a good win but not great broner is very possibly not in the 10 best welterweights or even 15. Collazo would need another fight to see where he's at he's done well against most top guys he's fought besides khan and was unlucky not to get a decision ,

 

avoided probably isn't the right word, i don't mean "ducked". The options to fight + those with the bigger fan bases weren't quick boxers in the main, but more Mexican style fighters.

Theres hasn't really been an obvious one to fight in the last few years, I'm not critising for FMJ, I'm a fan of his, but being in the UK as you are, i stay up / get up at 5am to watch him fight, were I'm 80% sure he's going to win on points, again and again. Khan, (as well as being british) would offer a completely different challenge to Floyd + a far better fight imo. Who'd you want to see him fight bar Pac?

Oh I'm sorry 4 years ago and since then Maidana got schooled off Alexander, beat him much easier than Khan and without having to any form of Khan dance. But strung some decent victories together which culminated in the victory over Broner.

Meanwhile Khan was in full sprinting mode up in Washington DC getting bullied by light punching Peterson and then got his **** pushed in off Garcia. He then has gone on to be matched ever so carefully due to his awful punch resistance.

Again I will say it Khans last notable win came in 2011!!!!

He hasn't done sweet FA since of note.

Explain to me this Khan bummer boy how does a win over a shopworn Judah back in 2011, plus then going 3-2 in your next 5 warrant a shot at Mayweather?

Probably doesn't deserve the fight even though I think he'll beat mayweather and would have beat mayweather if picked instead of maidana that time. You can say khan doesn't deserve his shot without putting a bull**** spin on things.the majority think khan beat Peterson without all that controversy , and Peterson would have been probably in the top two wins in maidanas career . Maidana was in better form compared to khan but again didn't still establish his level at welterweight with poor opposition, khan is currently being slated for being linked to a Lopez fight , karass is drifting towards journeyman status and I've never heard of the other guy he beat. Diaz is probably level with these guys and colloazo May or may not be a step ahead . His run was better than khan at the time but khan did have a better overall resume and we'll see where maidana is really at in his next fight

Ortiz was a cherry pick but he was coming off a good win over Berto.

Guerrero and Maidana where coming off the back of some solid wins, Guerrero especially and neither had recently been KTFO like Khan has.

Again when talking about Khan deserving the fight you talk of his resume, but he hasn't beaten a top 10 fighter since 2011, that's 3 years without a win of note. Plus you add into the mix the Peterson loss and being made to do the chicken dance off Garcia and no Khan didn't deserve the fight over Guerrero or Maidana.

If he fights Guerrerro and Beas him then yes maybe he can start to actually warrant a Mayweather fight. But why doesn't he stop avoiding Alexander and Thurman.

 

Oh again please explain why Khan deserves to be the next in line over other fighters.......
