He is a cancer to the sport. It will only help once he is not there anymore.

Boxing will always move on, at it already proved countless times. Fighters will never be bigger than the sport.

Tyson was probably a bigger attraction. Ppv wasn't as big back then no social media or that stuff and he's still recognized at every corner of the globe

Nah! It won't be the same. It will be infinitely better. Can't wait until he's done.
As much as he talks about Arum, he sure isn't any better for boxing. Recognize this, Mayweather is not in boxing for the fans, the sport itself, or because he truly loves it. He is in it for the money.

Boxing will still be good. There will be new superstars once Mayweather retires.
People actually getting sick of him cherry picking.

As he says in a video, " I have a smart team, I will keep handpicking my opponents and I will keep stealing all your money "

Hopefully the next star that emerges is a true international star again. Who people in other countries can actually see box and catch the imagination of a generation like the big names of the past did.
And I don't even know he actually is boxing's biggest attraction. He definitely isn't the most watched fighter because of obvious reasons.

Floyd has been pretty bad for the sport, so it will probably get better.
And if they drop the whole ppv ****, boxing might even become a big sport again, but that probably won't happen.

Well said! I've always maintained that a 'World Champion' should fight ALL OVER THE WORLD.

Beating a top foreign fighter on their home soil or in a neutral country would really be something to behold.
