I saw a lot of Kaylor he was a typical Lawless fighter, good jabber ,tall with boxing ability and a spiteful puncher , he could be drawn into brawls, but proved he could handle a lot of the guys his weight who were around. Losses to Graham and Sibson are no disgrace , and Collins was a full blown lhvy who beat him when he was 34. The bigest blot on his book is his stoppage loss to Buster Drayton. I think he stops Gilroy late.
Kaylor could punch but was a bit chinny himself but gilroy did get sparked a few times by lesser opposition than kaylor . Kaylor by KO 7
Drayon the future champ' who beat Davey Moore, Said Skouma and Carlos Santos? Not a banger, but what's the issue in Kaylor losing to him? Drayton was world class.
He was also appreciably smaller than Kaylor who said himself on Sports World ,"that is a bad defeat because he's really not in my division".Honest lad :good. Drayton gave Kaylor 6 lbs that night, he was a light middle.
I'd Better go to Spec'savers i Think... I thought it said Mark Kaylor Vs BET Gilroy..... I Thought Alec wouldnt be too Pleased !!
A light middle who'd fought middles, would aoon be world class fighting Kaylor, who wasn't. Ten a penny type of loss. No biggie at all.
I'm not making anything of it ,I just said it was his worst reversal and he agreed with me when he was interviewed about it. No Kaylor was Euro level at best,an entertaining scrapper though. Excuse me I'm just going to have a look in the mirror to see if there's a red dot over my heart.
Ok for me both could could be vulnerable to hitting the canvas it's a close call as both I would think were of similar standard not world class but decent to good European level the KO defeats gilroy suffered worry me more in a fight where both may feel the canvas on their backsides I find myself following the majority and going for a kaylor victory inside the distance
There was a thread on here a week or so ago about gilroy and **** it was excellent one person votes for Kilroy but does not post in thread where have the gilroy fans gone
