This contradiction puts a dent in the integrity of all of Floyd's statements IMO:yikes

If he says things that are untrue when under pressure that can also make you suspect on his criminal past:think

I am just saying if he did lie and these company men blow the whistle on him and this goes the additional steps of giving statements under oath and if he is found guilty of not being honest this could end badly.

He loses credibility with all other subjects and concerns such as the assault on women and the PAC man issues :blood If this goes to the next level which I don't think Showtime wants or maybe they do in order to break free of his contract.:hi:

I like Floyd as a boxer but as a fan he makes it difficult to defend him to others at times and this is just another one of those times:|

If all this is just circus hype then so be it and let's move on and focus on him facing the best for his last few fights. I wish no ill on Floyd for as a man with the odds stacked against him when he was younger he has defied them and gained success like no other boxer prior to him.

The reaction he had to the drug testing. I personally think he's clean, but the suspicions were called for

They also believed that because he was the most tested man on the planet and still managed to beat the tests for years.

    Yes. Manny will be included.

It's funny, this guy on Twitter said he'd give away a free boxing DVD to anyone who predicted the winner of the last Pacquiao-Marquez fight. I've always believed Manny took PEDs, and all his fights with Marquez were even.

Since it was clear Marquez was taking PEDs before the last fight, I decided to pick Marquez by KO in 6 - just as a joke (telling people Marquez should be twice as good as he used to be now that he's using PEDs, so he should win in six).

I did it more to get a rise out of people than anything else.

    And I won the DVD.

All Showtime has to do is release the footage they have of the 30-plus-minute fighting session. If the fighters took breaks, Mayweather is telling the truth (about that, at least).

Then again, I don't think Stephen Espinoza wants to do anything to hurt Mayweather, even while Mayweather throws them under the bus.

Pacquiao having that awesome 2009, and his career up to it, really didn't make any more suspicious of him than others in boxing.

I've felt for awhile that PEDs are just part of sports at a high level, unfortunate as that may be.

It's more bothersome though if it's prevalent in violent sports like boxing and football (American), than sports like baseball. In baseball, apparently it's not much of a big deal that players have been using amphetamines for decades, or when pitchers alter the ball illegally...but you take steroids/HGH and suddenly the wonderful "integrity" of the American pastime has been compromised.

Whether you judge his refusal to be the result of him not allowing Floyd to dictate terms to him with the insinuation being that his accomplishments were due to cheating or to avoid being caught for said cheating. Nobody really knows but many are quick to rush to judgement.
Did Michael Jackson really molest those kids or did their greedy parents extort him of his money? Nobody knows but that doesn't stop people from stating, I believe ______ blah blah as if they were there.

Maybe the fact that he bailed on the biggest fight in history because of a ped test. Other than that, he didn't give reason to believe he was on it.

In a statement released Tuesday night through the mediator in the case, the Mayweathers said,

''They wish to make it clear that they never intended to claim that Manny Pacquiao has used or is using any performance-enhancing drugs, nor are they aware of any evidence that Manny Pacquiao has used performance-enhancing drugs."

.....The Mayweathers started this whole ''PED excuse against Pacquiao'' but they couldn't back it up, They talk too much.

i kept waiting to see if someone would make the obvious connections also, wrong crowd i guess.
i dont have to read the contract to know that showtime protected themselves in writing from just this sort of thing. they cant have someone of floyds questionable character just flip out one day and start bad mouthing showtime and saying how hbo is so much better, the damage could be irreparable. floyd has called into question the integrity and validity of showtimes programming, and you can bet your ass showtime wont take it lying down. i think this is exactly what ahowtime needed to force a fight with pac or enforce the protection clauses in its contract to clean mayweather out. this is a huge hole in floyds armor.

Hey thing is the fans don't really care until your caught. FFS Lance Armstrong is the best example of this. People were lapping it up when Barry Bonds was hitting home run records but when he got ousted look how fast people turn.

I don't know why people care that his friends smoked weed in his house. How is that at all relevant with anything commission or boxing related?

Yeah. Murder... Nobody seemed to mind.

Oscar does mad cocaine, he doesn't lose his promoter license.

A couple of Mayweathers' friends smoke weed in his house and HE SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO FIGHT OR PROMOTE EVER AGAIN AND SHOULD FACE LEGAL CHARGES!!!!
