Chagaev is not even done now and would be the answer.

Byrd and Eddie Chambes would be two other good answers.

Haye is a guy who was stopped by a super middle and put on the canvas by Monte Barret. Povetkin is a couple of levels above him and would knock him out.

what has Chagiev done since that fight to make you think he isn't done? :think

Byrd was shot at that point. Chambers doesn't even have a decent win on his resume, let alone a good one. it meant nothing.

Haye has only been stopped once, by Carl Thompson. he's no SM.

Haye was square-on when he touched the canvas against Barret. but even then, what's that got to do with it?? what a strange thing to say.

Povetkin hasn't proved himself to be worthy of a high ranking. when he has, then we'll talk.

if Haye can get back to full fitness and shake the ring rust off, you better pray the meeting in the ring never comes off because Povetkin will be embarrassed. he'll also be knocked out.

What bigoted gorilla "reasoning". AP's wins are against has been fighters and mean nothing :verysad

Based on that standard DH has done nothing at HW besides a controversial win over a faded Valuev. I won't bring up his putrid, scared "performance" vs Wlad... after running his mouth pre fight :yep

Its not personal I'm not a fan of Hayes but for somebody who has done nothing with there life, wants to criticise somebody who has... well you're a joke.

Its actually frightening to imagine the brutal KO Haye would inflict on the fat unathletic blob that is Povetkin.

Haye beats him easily in every department

Haye already said in other interviews that he isn't ready for the best until after a few fights... so povetkin is too big a risk for a comeback fight. keep updated and sensible

Povetkin would get brain damage if he fought Haye. I think Haye is slightly taller and if that's ever the case with him, your getting badly knocked out. Marco Huck arguably beat Povetkin and Huck is awful.

You clearly are making it personal, and you're an idiot for not recognizing it as such. You don't know me, and you have no clue what accomplishments I've achieved. Your assumptions are ignorant and unfounded.

    :hi:

This is a boxing forum and you have chosen to criticise a former world champion BOXER so your comments are open to ridicule. So as stated what in terms of BOXING have you achieved to criticise a former world champion? Exactly nothing.

So what?? Haye is right. He has been out of the ring for ages.Povetkin is the present nr.2 at heavy weight.Haye would be out of his shoes to take on Povetkin at this point of time. After a few tune up fights the outcome could be totally different.
When asked Haye gave an honest reply.Whats wrong with it?
