Stiverne needs to get in shape and take his title seriously. If he does he should win. He has faster hands, far better technical skills, and has faced better competition. Lot of money trying to hype Wilder up as a heavyweight destroyer but if fight is on level I like Stiverne in two rounds.

Really exciting fight. I don't think much of Wilder, but if nothing else he has monstrous power and is not bad to watch because of that and because he's so vulnerable.

Stiverne I don't like much either, but he's a tough guy and a legitimate threat in the HW division.

I would be very surprised to see Wilder pull this one off. All signs point to him being badly hurt.

Agreed. I just hope it's an actual fight and that boxing corruption doesn't rear its ugly head.

This is a legitimately intriguing fight. :bbb

Stiverne took everything that Arreola threw at him and beat him twice, all I've seen from Wilder is a large but uncoordinated man beating on tomato cans. Hopefully Stiverne doesn't hurt him too bad.

hard to say, since between them they can only scrape up a few decent opponents.

And there won't be any... doubt the fight will take place this year or anytime at all.

GBP is probably asking for unreasonable terms since they know this is Wilders cash out fight and his bubble finally bursts

Bold prediction of events (sarcasm intended):

-Don King wins purse bid, 35% above that of the next highest bidder.
-Don King defaults and doesn't make first payment, so fight goes back to purse bid.
-In that time frame, Wilder squeezes in a signed fight vs. an unranked fighter but slight step up in class for him.
-Second purse bid is forfeit and WBC approves of a 4-8 month delay.
-Stiverne then must make a voluntary defense of his title or simply sit on it. He fights a fringe contender.
-Wilder beats his opponent and Stiverne beats his one month after.
-WBC makes public statement that these two must fight! They try to sound serious.
-New purse bid is ordered for a new date.
    -(start over)

A don king managed fighter holding a world title is the last thing the heavyweight division needed.
