I heard Lewis likes to swallow his Fat Johnsons whole!

I was unaware boxing was a tag-team sport.

Vitali was the man who said he'd been preparing for the fight for a year, not Lewis. Lewis was being lazy and complacent after he beat Tyson and suddenly thought himself a level or two above everyone.

Most importantly Lewis was losing his hunger for the game......when that goes it is time to get out, he made the correct decision and retired with dignity.

Lewis retired at the perfect time.

    Made over 100 million
Beat everybody there was to beat(Except for Bowe who ducked him)
38 years old and his movement was declining.

If he had more fights eventually father time would have caught up with him.
Bowing out as undisputed champion of the World.
Beat the most dangerous guy out there at the time in Vitali, he went on to dominate the 00's

He's done no harm to his legacy bowing out when he did.
He never owed Vitali a rematch. He TKOed him already.

He was not the undisputed champ when he retired.

I don't understand why they do that with their opponents (possibly if one style doesn't match up well for them), but Vitali would have been a huge betting favorite over the Rock.

I don't understand when people say this. It was a very close fight, deserving of a rematch.

I can understand that he was approaching 38, but he didn't have a lot of damage (only 44 pro fights).

IMO he is lucky he got the win.

2005 Rahman was no worse than 2008 Rahman. Rahman came in trim and in shape for Wlad and took one of the worst one sided ass whoopings of all time. I don't think Rahman landed even one clean punch.

His wife gave him an ultimatum, it was either her or boxing.

    John Hopkins University.

Why would you assume I would say "no where." You look rather foolish now.

It's not the time its the quality of preperation. And no fighter was better prepared to lick Johnson than Lennox the Lion.
