How does anyone know? To me, they were different kinds of punchers. They both had a lot of power on the end of their punches. George had less technique but more physical strength, I'd say. Foreman knocked out bigger guys overall, so take that into account.

Larry Holmes hmm... I don't believe some stupid opinions about Tyson come straight from Holmes.I think he's more intelligent than these ****** things show.

If Butterbean is so hard puncher why couldn't he knock the 52 years old
fat slow untrained crap Holmes out? Obviously Butterbean could land
punch/punches on the Holmes fight. Why couldn't this/these punch or punches destroy the good old Larry?
Or Larry is just ****ing jealous...
    Otherwise:
The old 38 years old crap Tyson was harder puncher than the prime vitali k. maybe by a Danny Williams opinion.
Considering a F. Botha opinion: Tyson was harder puncher than
    Lewis or w. klitschko.:tong
By Mathis:"Tyson has the power, Bowe has the skill."
By Tyrone Evans(former Lewis and Moorer sparring partner)
about Tyson:"In general, he's the fastest heavyweight of my era.
And his power is second to none."
The muscleman Seldon about Tyson:"I came to fight, i came to win.I did not realize how hard he hits or how fast he is.He is a destroyer, ..."

I think by a Mercer opinion: Morrison was harder puncher than wladimir k.:tong
Ibragimov !! :happywas harder puncher than wladimir klitschko maybe by Austin.

Foreman also said Gerry Cooney and Cleveland Williams were extremely hard punchers. Foreman usually says Cooney or Lyle were the hardest punchers he ever faced. But he sparred with Cleveland Williams early in his career, and George said Williams could really hit!

first of all, wepner said this bull**** and curiously a green foreman (3-0?) stopped him in 3, however liston could not even stop wepner in 11 rouunds, it was by cuts, the facts said a different thing than your **** right little parrot?, ali said that liston did hit harder BEFORE HE FACED FOREMAN, so how he could know it? however after of the first round with foreman you can see the fear in the ali eyes, and he was joking with liston, plus ali wrote in his book "the soul of a butterfly" that foreman was the most powerful of his rivals, liston the scariest and frazier the toughest. once again the facts said another different thing than your crap. tyson in a interview with ali mentioned shavers and foreman at harder punchers than him, he never mentioned liston

and finally every person with sane eyes know that foreman did hit clearly harder with both hands, was physically stronger, took a better chin, got a much bigger heart, did cut much better the ring, was much harder to outbox, and now go to suck a ****, foreman hits harder than liston, he proved his power with full sized hws, not fragile 188 pounders like patterson or an overrated bum with a left hook like williams

actually it is truth, ali said it on a book.... "the soul of a buttefly" foreman did hit harder and stronger ,frazier the thoughest and liston was the scariest.
funny like you have even the courage to talk about facts... when the facts say 100%that foreman did hit harder without a doubt, better %kos even when he fought in his 40, he fought bigger, better and stronger men than liston did, you have "wepner said" but the facts said that a green nothing accurate foreman stopped him in 3 rounds by a beating and wepner lasted 11 with liston and was stopped by cuts... when tyson mentioned rivals of ali like harder puncher than himself(tyson), he mentioned shavers and foreman, NEVER MENTIONED LISTON. where is your facts?:rofl don“t make me laugh

He specifically said Foreman hit harder than Liston? Got a page number?

BTW, at the 1 min 27 second mark here Ali said that Foreman doesn't hit hard. In fact he said that numerous times in the post fight press conferences after their bout. So, like that other poster, do you take and twist the words of a fighter around to where it best suits your argument? Or do you take it ALL in?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5nlheJoCSQ

Yeah, you know....facts like Sonny Liston never having fought at 208 pounds, which you insisted he had in "plenty of fights" (remember that?) and then weren't man enough to admit you were wrong when I pointed it out to you.

So needless to say, it doesn't take much "courage" to talk facts to a guy like you, who studiously avoids them.

No, he lasted into the 9th. THERE are your facts. Keep laughing.

See? It is pointless debating with you and that Juggernaut troll because neither one of you can even get the most fundamental facts straight. It's like arguing with pre-school children.

They have a forum for posters on your level. I suggest you go over there and stop further embarrassing yourself here.

no the **** he dd not. both men's chins were tested by power punchers. foreman was dropped twice and liston didn't wobble. your argument that foreman had a better chin carries no weight. liston never proved his power to full sized heavyweights? he beat chuck wepner who was bigger than him. mike dejohn was also big. foreman was harder to outbox lol ok. foreman couldn't box for ****. again don't look to the ali fights to judge liston that wasn't the real liston, i hate it when people say liston didn't have heart. go watch his fights with cleveland williams and tell me the man didn't have heart. no man in the world can fight with a broken jaw for 6 rounds without having heart. you are mentally ******ed if foreman hit harder than why couldn't he drop george iron johnson but liston could. just stfu biased clown.
