Bermane Stiverne vs. Deontay Wilder speculation & discussion

That's what I said the minute the Stiverne vs Arreola II bout for the vacant title was announced.

 

I'm also beginning to suspect that this fight probably isn't going to happen.

 

It wouldnt be a Don King related fight if it didnt have massive delays, and constant negotiations.

Don likes to have his guys out once every 18 months....maybe every 2 years

 

Not going to happen, they already ruled that Stiverne must make a mandatory defense first. Granting a voluntary because his promoter refuses to make a deal isn't valid......but, this is boxing.....so who knows.

 

This is just a little taste of what the HW division is going to be like once the Wlad monster retires.

 

Yeah, back to the "good old days". 4 mediocre beltholders milking their straps and avoiding each other and any real threat as long as they can:roll:

Somehow I think Stivern's defense will end up being John Ruiz

I hope somehow they manage to meet in 2015.

 

I just saw a Seckbach video where Stiverne is implying that Wilder's people were holding everything up. Not sure if it was just talk, but he did seem a bit agitated by it.
