There is little doubt that bad things happened to the Rock Man when he lost weight and promised to be in great shape.

He was in "better shape" for the Lewis rematch as well and had lost a few pounds. Bad move. :patsch

:lol:Bad plan indeed. That corner advice was the worst ever, hold yer hands out and he can't get to you:lol:
He could reach around those arms and KO you with a few hard shots!

Ha, exactly. His whole defense was to walk backwards with his arms straight out like a zombie.

Remember screaming at my tv. No idea why they just didn't tell him to be aggressive behind the jab like the first fight.

I was so frustrated at that too. I thought he had it in him to KO Lewis again actually. He had a good body shot in the 1st but other than that not much success. That jab was good indeed, arms out like a zombie LOL that was so ridiculous.

You know Ive sat & read this thread right through again and Ive seen some of you post pure unadulterated bull****!!!!

1 You say Lennox ducked Byrd & Ruiz ?? ROFLMAO If Lennox had fought either you clowns would have said he was fighting a blown up middleweight & the laughing stock of the HW division Everyone ridiculed Ruiz until Jones jr signed to fight him then suddenly overnight he became a legit feared HW champion :rofl Kirk Johnson kicked Ruiz ass but Ruiz acting ability & Cortez corruption cased Kirk to get DQ'd. That fight basically destroyed Kirk he lost all interest in the game He got the fight against Lennox & I hoped he'd regain the urge but even a title fight against Lennox couldn't do it. I never heard of any bribe from the Klitschko's & do not know if Kirk's injury was legit but I know he was not training properly. As for Vitali- Johnson? Kirk was there purely for the check he had no intention of even trying to win being so woefully out of shape If the REAL Kirk Johnson had shown up against Vitali Vitali may well have got a boxing lesson

Ike Ibeabuchi did to Byrd EXACTLY what Lennox would have done Knocked his ass out!!!! It would have been a mismatch

Lennox retired at the right time He was on top of the world, beaten everyone he faced in the pro ring. Had nothing left to inspire him to fight again. He is a very happy contented man with a beautiful wife and great family & need never worry financially. Yes Lennox retired while at the top
Thankyou Lennox for being not only an ATG HW champ but also being a hell of a nice guy. Even if you do support The Hammers LOL remember that The Spurs rule lol

It seems someone else has a preference for Johnson over Byrd.

    We don't judge here.

So with half a training camp, turning up fat and being so embarrassed he wore a t-shirt at the weigh in, he's in good shape?:rofl:patsch

There's just no arguing with these nuthuggers. Somewhere between their eyes and their pea brain something happens to distort what they see to fit their agendas.:nut

It's the quality of opposition and how a fighter judges that.

After beating Tyson, Lewis didn't think anyone was in his league and thought he could coast through on minimal effort and get a few easy paydays before he retired.

Vitali was gunning for Lewis and, by his own admission, had been doing so for a year.

There can be no doubt that Vitali was the hungrier fighter.

I was in Ike's gym , The Home of Champions gym, on an almost daily basis while Ike was training with Curtis Cokes & I never saw any steroid usage. But I suppose you know better even though you've never met the guy . You clowns making fal;se accusations need stopping:patsch
