I think despite his weight disadvantage we can all agree the Froch would do a number on the cloud beterbiev just KO'd so comparisons are pointless at this moment in time. Let's see this new monster in with the other supposed sharks in his division before we start anointing him on high.

Beterbiev is too big and too strong for him. Froch vs Kovalev would be a different thing, I think that Froch could weather the storm, take him into deep waters and drown him. Froch has always been in great condition, has a great chin, a high workrate and goes to the body on a regular basis. He'd also have a 3 inch reach advantage over Kovalev and I get the feeling that Kovalev, who really relies on his jab to get things going, could struggle a bit with that aspect.
