Floyds character is very telling. This is no surprise.

No matter how you disect it, Floyd's resume wasnt impressive.

Floyd went into hiding to duck prime fighters.

    Floyd cherry picked easy opponent.

It has been a long time since Mayweather fought a boxer with speed and good foot work.

He even admits it on camera

    Floyd Mayweather jr:

''I have a smart team, I want to keep hand picking my opponents and keep stealing all your money''

Exposed or not Showtime will retract the statement to assure they don't jeopardize their cash cow relationship with TMT or PBF

At this point, they've got two options.

They can retract to keep things nice and cozy with Floyd for the duration of his contract, or they can try to find a way out of the contract altogether (I'm assuming they weren't dumb enough to leave out language giving them an "out" in the contract, and causing damage to your employer is a pretty convenient reason to end it).

The primary motivation Showtime would have for looking for a way to get rid of him is the extraordinary per fight guarantee and their lack of opponents they can profitably sell.

Option B isn't terribly likely because that would take more accountability than Espinoza has and he would be admitting they made a mistake in guaranteeing Floyd so much. I think Espinoza's toast before too much longer anyways, but he won't fall on his sword. It's more likely they continue to let the tail wag the dog.

what for knowing Showtime business Moves?

Do you really think Showtime was going to throw Mayweather under the bus ? a multi million dollar investment ?

    Who really the simpleton here?
Maybe you should ask Pac how is Lawyer works for both him and Arum ? now that s focking simple.

Depends entirely on when Floyd actually gets paid.

If he was paid up front, then no. They won't ditch him.

If it's fight by fight (which is what I'd assume is the case), then I'd still say no (for the reasons I outlined in my post above). But, Showtime would actually save money getting out of the contract if they determine they can't find profitable opponents for Floyd due to the massive per-fight guarantees.

Khan fans still trying hard to prove something he isnt

Khan hits harder than Mayweather because he Ko'd Dimitry Salita in one round.

Khan is better than Mayweather because Khan has never been outboxed (or fought any boxers except Malignaggi).

Whoever it is, it definitely aint Khan.

The only time Khan displays good footwork is when hes trying to keep himself upright after getting clattered
