Hate seeing these things in the papers, I hope Scott doesn't have to spend more time over there as it could be catastrophic for him when he gets out again!! He seems to be on the right road at the minute ie training hard and keeping out of trouble. I really don't understand what the Spanish law is all about? why didn't they just sort all of this out when he was already in custody instead of releasing him then trying to get him back again!! It's just crazy waiting a couple of years to sort this out!

They've made several attempts to get him back and he has refused each time as far as I'm aware.

Hes been in trouble of late so id hardly say hes been on the right road , he was jailed and bailed the day prior to getting his licence back for assaulting a female

The shame is the offence happened 7-8 years ago, the Spanish jailed him for another offence. The Police over there never bothered charging him, then after completing his sentence and coming home they started proceedings. It's a real shame for him, and his family.

The chances of a skinny junkie beating him in a straight fight are zero

Is it fck, its a shame for the victims of his crimes that they have to wait this long for justice since he 'avoided' proceedings against him.

How can you defend a guy who beats up women ffs

Avoided justice, he was in a Spanish jail for nearly 3 years, in all that time the Spanish know about the other incident and were not interested. Then when he gets home to UK there suddenly interested. Its backward. IF Your in jail here and you are accused of another crime , your charged brought before court whilst doing your original sentence and if found guilty an extra sentence is added to original. We wouldn't leave it till a foreign national finished sentenced and was back home for 3-4 years ! And from what I understand in reports it was a few guys fighting another few guys, the main witness names Scotts cousin as main offender. Then when Scotts cousin died he gave a new statement naming Scott as the main offender.
