So by that logic, unless you're a professional chef, you're not allowed to criticize the food your served in a restaurant if it tastes awful? You're telling me that YOU don't criticize anybody in the public spotlight? Spare me the hypocrisy.....

Haye repeatedly has made claims, promises of action....only to pull out, make excuses and deceive and defraud the public, as well as his fellow sportsmen. Haye deserves whatever criticism he gets and if that twists your panties into a bunch, that's your problem.

My accomplishments have no connection to Haye's would've, should've, could've career, and are as irrelevant to the topic as yours are.

You're spouting nonsense. Haye is allowed to pull out of contests due to injury. Tyson Fury pulled out of a contest due to a family illness ffs. Wlad has just pulled out of a contest due to injury.

Let me break down your would've - he did win belts at CW and HW...could've - he did win belts at CW and HW - Should've - see where I'm going here?

Stating that you don't think Haye is a good boxer is one thing. Stating what has Haye done with your would've, could've statement is ridiculous from somebody who HASN'T achieved anything in boxing.

At what point did I say you do not have the right to an opinion? I stated your opinion is open to ridicule this is a boxing forum is it not?

Haye just had major shoulder surgery. He isn't going to be the same and he wasn't very good to begin with.

Neither Haye nor Povetkin has ever beat anyone as good as the other at HW. Would be a good fight - the kind that should get made but won't.

The Valeuv that Haye beat was far more shot than either Chagaev or Byrd do to the fact that his gigantism had already badly effected his joints. That is why he was not even capable of outboxing a 45 year old Holyfield. The Eddie Chambers that Povetkin beat would have been better than any of those relics.

Carl Thompson did indeed start as a super middle.

Haye will never rank higher than Byrd. Or for that mater the two time champ Ruslan Chagaev. Huck will also rank far higher than Haye too. He's already far surpassed Haye's two title fights at CW record.

Defeated Bango (African gold medalist, Olympic silver medalist) in 6th fight, KO 2
    Defeated Ahunanya in 7th fight
Defeated Larry Doland in 13th fight
Defeated Chris Byrd in 14th fight (via TKO)
    Defeated Chambers in 15th fight
Defeated Ruslan Chagaev for the WBA belt
    Defeated Boswell, KO 8
Defeated Marco Huck (longest reigning cruiserweight champ in history)
    Defeated Rahman, TKO 2
    Defeated Manuel Charr, KO 7
Lost to Wladimir Klitschko via UD
Never knocked down in either amateur or pro career until he fought Klitschko
Defeated every man he ever faced as both amateur and pro except for Wladimir Klitschko

These are the facts, not an opinion. ;)

I can't believe the amount of my fellow Brits still believing the Haye hype.

Get real boyo's Haye is more concerned with the shillings and Z list celebrity lifestyle.

Very good summary. APs record is better than I thought, quite impressive for a smallish - in the current era - HW.

Of course there are some on esb that can't give fighters of APs "type" any credit due to their insecurities and various biases :-(
