Because he petitioned the WBO for the chance to fight for their belt at 160lbs.
Korobov v Saunders was pretty much a done deal for the Fury v Chisora undercard before Doo-Doo opened his mouth. Eubank Jr got called a *** all over the internet.
As for fighting GGG, Andrade has a lot to say on twitter about GGG's opponents. I guess it's safer to stay at 154lbs and just talk about it. Must be a Haymon fighter after all.

Not intended to hijack but where does this leave Korobov? Do they hand him that title with the #2 guy being occupied or do they go down the list to find an opponent to contest that title/bauble?

Probably going to have to go get robbed in the UK against Saunders. That fight is back on now, Eubank Jr apparently didnt care to back up his talk and take the Saunders fight.

    Who cares

Guy didn't deserve a vacant title fight at a division he never fought at

And so he didn't move up? Is that really considered a duck? Fighting at the weight your comfortable at

    He's hardly proven at 154

Fair play to Andrade giving his fellow 2008 Olympians some chance to shine. I tip my hat to him

To be fair, Quillen is still a much bigger coward than BooBoo. Let's make that clear. Quillen ran away from his belt when he heard Korobov wanted it... He was in that division too.

His team did, without even discussing it with him.

Hes said he doesnt feel any need to move up to 160

not 100% sure on WBO rules here, if he stepped up to MW for WBO title, would they strip him of his LMW WBO belt? if so I can see the logic in him not stepping up

he can still have the cotto/canelo fights at LMW and with a guaranteed belt to bring to negotiations will be in a stronger position.

One so-so performance from Korobov has got them all shook.
