I wasn't trying to correct your shitty grammar, klittard. The fact that you believe he "inadvertently" injected anabolic steroids into his ass is what I find laughable. :yep
Well what a piquant ball of sunshine you are. You are making the assumption that he was using a syringe, it could very well have been in pill form which makes his account very believable. Point is he never tested positive in his pro career. Now I want to know how it is possible that Lewis put on 25 pounds of muscles in a few years during his pro career in a cardio intensive sport like boxing?
No athlete at that level, let alone one with Vits education, is unaware of ANYTHING they are using. He cheated, he got caught, end of story. Both him and his brother never tested positive as pro's, but i have little doubt both were-are juiced to the gills.
But as you said both have never tested positive. Now as Foremanjab says how did Lewis put on 2 stone of muscle in such a short period of time and completely change his physical structure? Do you have little doubt about him juicing, although never caught ?
Im not defending Lewis or any other professional boxer for that matter. We can say the same thing of Wlads huge gains. What absolutely separates either of them from good ole Vittles though is that Vits has a past history of cheating and being caught. Spin it anyway you want, but every fighter claims he either didnt know or it was prescribed by a doctor. Im sorry, but at that level EVERYONE knows everything they're taking and they know whats banned and what isnt.
His account isn't believable in the least, and anybody who knows anything about steroids knows that steroids in pill form are not only less effective, but also more detrimental to your health, which is why I'm fairly certain that he was injecting the ****. As for Lewis, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find out that he was juiced to his eyeballs, but he isn't the one who was caught red handed... Vitali was. :deal
By "serendipitously", I assume you mean he won perfectly legally and fairly right? Vitali had his shot against the fattest, oldest Lewis to ever step in the ring. He blew it.
Vitali got the better of the opening two rounds before Lewis edged the 3rd. Rounds 4 and 5 were close with Vitali more active but Lewis landing the more effective blows. Round 6 was a clear win for Lewis. The fight was not one-sided - if it was it would not be regarded as one of the great heavyweight bouts of modern times - and the damage Vitali suffered was too extensive just to be written off as "luck".
Let's stop trying to rewrite history here. In boxing, ripping your opponents face to shreds with clean hard punches IS NOT LUCK.
The 80% ready figure is bizarre. Lewis and Vitali were both preparing for fights. Lewis took Vitali as a replacement short notice because in his words, he had one of the best training camps of his career and didn't want it to go to waste. Lewis also certainly wasn't fat, regardless of his weight was, the man looked incredible shape.
Lewis was "preparing" for Kirk Johnson who was seen as an easy fight. He certainly didnt look to be going to hard in training both by his appearance and the fact he was puffing after about 5 rounds
-So? You have your opinion but here is what was actually reported from Lewis' camp. Lewis was reportedly in his finest shape since his first meeting with Evander Holyfield and may not want to waste a training camp in the Poconos. http://assets.espn.go.com/boxing/news/2003/0606/1564465.html -This appearance? He's shredded with 8pack abs. Not an ounce of fat on the man. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/11/22/article-0-01E860DA0000044D-258_468x608.jpg -He was puffing after 5 rounds because he had been wrestling and brawling with a larger man. Do you think he would look as fresh as he did pushing Vitali around the ring than he would pot shotting Tua?
Well he was 10+ pounds heavier than Rahman 2, which was like a year before. Using your own mind, decide if he was in as good a shape for the Vitali fight.
No. Rahman 2 was over 2 years previously. Lewis was 7 lbs heavier than the Tyson fight a year previous and only 5 pounds heavier than McCall 2 where he was in phenomial motived condition which was 6 years previous. I can't judge a training camp I didn't attend. But this is what was reported. And it makes sense he wouldn't want to waste a great training camp. Lewis was reportedly in his finest shape since his first meeting with Evander Holyfield and may not want to waste a training camp in the Poconos. I also trust my eyes and he looked in great shape physically with visible abdominal muscles, hardly overweight in apparence.
