Explain in detail; How do you beat him?

If you were a trainer and your fighter was up against him, what would you train for? Which areas would you repeat?

Also, name me a fighter past or present who you think takes GGG to school. If you name either Hagler or Monzon then its quite clear that GGG is not overrated

Bernard Hopkins at the height of his middelweight reign takes him to school and Andre Ward currently does.

and I think the biggest liability GGG has is on the inside. Get a fighter who knows how to neutralize your offense on the inside and impose his will on you, then he'd beat him. That's why Ward and Hopkins are the obvious options. I also wouldn't spend the whole fight there of course, so you need to be able to slip punches on the outside, but give up too much ground.

    Gerald Mcclellan .

I would point at Golovkin and I would say just 3 words before the opening bell of round 1 .

    " GERALD , KILL HIM ! "

Than my job as a trainer is pretty much done that night

Seems a good enough approach. So somebody technically defensive minded? I would like to see how GGG approaches that. Im sure he hasnt reached his A-game in the ring yet. But do you think Ward and Hopkins could take his body shots? His power might make them want to stay on the outside

I have to see what his power looks like at 168 to judge that one. I think Hopkins could brace for them enough though. But like I said, I wouldn't plan of fighting the whole fight their. Mix it up on him.

Everyone has a weakness. The question is: What is Golovkin's weakness and who can exploit it?

I noticed he doesn't fight too well backing up but once people taste his power, they're in retreat. Stevens backed him up very briefly, but like he said: he was "thinking too much." Meaning he was weary of Golovkin's power. That caused him to get defensive and not fight his usual fight.

I see his defense as very good, when he wants it to be.

I went back and really examined Wards fights a while back, came to conclusion that Golovkin has a very good shot at beating him.

Floyd doesnt have the power to keep him honest, he would be crushed. Floyd leaning on ropes would just end with a trip to the hospital. I'd honesty pay quadruple regular PPV price to see Floyd-GGG because I really dont like Floyd.

You would need someone who could take his power and who could back him up at the same time. Chavez springs to mind but he is far too stationary to make an impact.

GGG has nobody at 160lbs who can seriously challenge him so he's either looking up or down... which way would you go ?
