Floyd won't go broke right away.....He may never go broke....IF, he changes a lot of things that he has become accustomed to. His life style and circle of "friends" will have to shrink considerably. He'll still be able to live a very lavish lifestyle but for Floyd.......he likes to take things to another level with how he flaunts, spends and wastes his money.

When his earning potential drops by 95% due to not fighting anymore he'll have to supplement his income elsewhere.....or be on a budget......If he is a successful promoter then he'll be able to continue living his current lifestyle but he'll just have to keep things under wraps or tone it down a LOT! Other wise he could lose out on making money outside the ropes.

As a Floyd fan, I'd probably shut up since the man of your dream is using the same shakes. :patsch

When you have a house built of glass, you don't throw at the others...:hi:

Doesn't Pac owe more in taxes than what his net worth right now? Hope it's not true but he really needs to separate himself from Arum and all of his hanger ons.

Anyhoo, cost of living in the Philippines is A LOT lower than it is here in the US. $2.5-3k/month and you're living pretty damn good out there.

who's to say that when Floyd retires from boxing that he'll continue to buy new Bugattis every 6 months? For all we know he has money stashed away in the bank already and will live off of that after retiring so he's free to spend whatever he's making now. /shrug

NONE of these boxers deserve to be broke after their career is done. They've given up way too much for the sport to come out empty handed in my opinion.

Generally, I don't think athletes take steroids orally, so this PED shake idea doesn't really hold much water.

Watch the two fight and compare yourself. You can one is a complete delusional fraud, with equally delusional fans. The other a skilled fighter whos' about to break it into the big time.

Algieir is a much more skilled boxer.

Thats not the point here, the question i asked was, how many times had De lay Hoya been knocked out before Floyd fought him? seeing as you were claiming Floyd is featherfisted?

Surprise, only ONCE and that was at MW by Bernard Hopkins.

Once again, you havent answered the question. How many times had Mosely been knocked out prior to facing Mayweather?

Ill answer it for you NEVER. Moseley had never been stopped prior to facing Mayweather.

Did Floyd force Marquez to sign the contract? No Marquez came of his own will. You people didnt raise an eyebrow when Pacqiauo decided to face him for the 3rd time.

Cotto and Hatton beat this guy years ago, Khan fights him for one reason only, Paulies pillow fists.

Zab had 6 losses coming in to that fight. and the Matthysse win was controversial. same Matthyse Khan jumped to WW to avoid. Mabuza is/was ****.

Collazo had 4-5 losses to his name and came out of semi retirement to fight Khan, he had a win over Ortiz who himself was a part time boxer. But that suits Khan to a tee doesnt it.

Barely made it out of round one? He got up and beat the **** out of Khan, do you forget the last few rounds? Khan was running like Usain Bolt.

Who has Mayweather dropped? You keep asking the same question and i keep giving you the same answer. Prior to facing Mayweather, Hatton, Marquez, Canelo, Gurerro, Maidana had NEVER been stopped.

Of course Ortiz doesnt count, because that doesnt fit with your agenda does it? Ortiz was knocked spark out. Whether you like it or not.

Simple question, did Floyd knock Hatton out yes or no?

Hatton came out of years retirement to face Senchenko, the fact you bought this fight up shows how desperate you are.

If you actually knew anything about boxing, you'd know, if a fighter has no respect for another fighters power, the normally walk through them. If the named people werent bothered by Mayweathers punches, what was stopping them from walking right through him? Take your time with that one.

Bollocks, Mosely had NEVER been stopped when he fought Mayweather. Your either lying or misinformed.

What do all of those have in common? they were all big punchers.

The point i made was, these guys Floyd wasnt able to stop, most of them have never been stopped before whereas the others were only stopped by big punchers.

Why is Khan fighting him then?

Floyd toyed with Marquez to make a statement.

And? fights arent judged by how many marks one has on their face.

Put a 37 year old Khan against that Maidana and see what happens

(Not that Khan will be relevant to boxing when hes 37). Not that hes relevant much, now either.

Well, that would awesome but I think we're dreaming! The more it goes, the more I find Mayweather completely pathetic with diva requests and excuses.

Tyson and Roy Jones managed to blow their multi millions. It is sure enough achievable. As they and many others too have proved.

Floyd does not live modestly, and probably will not change once he retires. If his gambling habits continue after the big checks stop coming in, he will be on the fast track to the bottom.

Hopefully he has been putting some away in a retirement fund.
