Seems Huck's contract with Sauerland is up in December and he doesn't plan on renewing. Says he wants to chase a fight with Klitschko and would also be interested in fighting in the U.S I know HBO said they were interested in Huck earlier this year and maybe this would be the start of that.
Shame is run of opponents at Cruiser was lack luster. He may of broke the defense record but he cherry picked his opposition. Why not rematch Lebedev instead of Afolabi 3 times and Arslan twice. If his contract was going to expire with SL , what was preventing a YPH fight? Mchunu,Makabu , Drozd- all ,missed/avoided opportunities. He should take some good fights at HW to make it for it. Id love to see a rematch with Cunningham and Povetkin.
There were always many much better opponents to face for Huck in his title run. Impressive run and I am a fan, but certainly a little disappointed in his facing only a couple top 10 opponents.
Nice. It's a nice division and the top contenders not meeting is bad, maybe this will change that. Plus, a fight with Klitschko would make him a rich man. Can't blame him for that.
Wlad vs Huck. One of the ATG HW's against one of the ATG CW's. Make this fight happen. It makes sense. Huck reminds me of a young Foreman. A very similar frame and fighting style too.
