I know Eddie reads the forums so hopefully this poll will show him how ****ing bad this idea is.

Eddie - you are a shafting boxing fans with this PPV nonsense and you will see the long term result of this when you have very few people turning up for your future Quigg v TBA type cards.

Sky will also suffer as people will unsubscribe and buy alternative satellite systems to watch exactly the same sport for 10% of the price.

Eddie can justify the 'stacked' card all he wants. Top of the bill is Bellew Vs Cleverly, and once you take away the 'grudge match' hype surrounding it, it is no more than a domestic fight. Listening to Bellew go through his comedic sketch every time he is in front of the cameras has become tedious 'drained at the weight', 'you fought journeyman', 'i'm going to hurt you', 'i put people to sleep'( perhaps that is in reference to his interviews and press conferences). A good card yes, PPV absolutely not.

They should have saved the fight to be the co-feature for the next Froch fight.

Surprised they didn't hold it at Wembley, tbh.

Wembley and PPV are THE buzz words in British Boxing atm, and for all the wrong reasons.

Not one of them has done a thing on the world scene @ CW. They don't hold any titles, yet there ppv? BS, IMO.

It's absolutely not a question of the pricing. I'll spend a load more in the pub, but it's the principle.

If we accept this is PPV we are going down a horrible road.
