Here's a question. Even though Cloud had already lost two in a row and had showed diminished confidence and skill, if he goes on to be irrelevant from here on out will the eastern euro contingent on here claim Beterbiev ruined him? I ask this not to take a shot at Beterbiev, who looks very impressive for such an early stage in His career, but because of those who would base his whole future after a handful of fights. Opinions?

i think he did ruin him, a broken jaw is always very hard to come back form eg Ricky Burns

If Beterbiev broke Cloud's jaw, then wow. He has some vicious power.

He has to be the hardest puncher at LHW, which is saying a LOT.

Plenty of fighters have come back from broken jaws. Cloud was done long before Beterbiev, its why their camp chose him.

Like I said, Beterbiev should fight Campillo next.

He would have a good claim to be the hardest puncher in the division if he stopped Campillo in less time than Kovalev.

According to many greats Earnie Shavers was the hardest punching heavyweight all time. That doesnt mean we should include him along side the greats. No?

I didn't mean hardest hitter in LHW of all time. I meant in the current division.

Cloud is really done now. I mean he didn't loose his belt (against a then unified champ), or lost to an already world champion (which still coulrd make him a top 4-5 guy). He lost to a guy who was 5-0 not even in the top 15 in most (if not all) sanctionning body. Cloud is now severall step back and past his prime.

I feel bad for the guy, he looked like a nice and professionnal guy compared to some other bad role model (Mayweather, Broner, Stevenson) for the black american people who could be looking for role model.

Oh i agree he is definitely up there in the discussion as to who the hardest puncher in the division is. My point is being a hard puncher in itself doesnt automatically transition itself into being one of the best fighters. That said it looks like the kid has a bright future. Lets not overstate it though after only a handful of fights.
