Duva admitted her recent cards weren't as good as some of her earlier ones with NBC.

She says since her contract was ending with NBC she decided to showcase some of her fighters, like Karl Dargan, with the hopes of landing them on HBO.

This is excellent news. More boxing on different chanel, it will get people more interested in the long run. Plus Haymon match up were quite awfull lately. Other promoters can pick up the empty spots on HBO/Showtime and give us good boxing nights.

Sounds like he's pissed off HBO and Showtime. Time to get the fock out of dodge eh? Now he's got to pay for his own dates lol. He's going to find that getting sponsorship on a major network is a lot harder than talking about it. Floyd and company is not exactly primetime sponsor material lol.

Nah it's only good if truly honorable promotional companies like Top Rank or Main Events are the ones carrying boxing on network on TV.

Al Haymon is the foremost genius of boxing history!

He is the Black God Of Perfected Pugilistic Promotion.

If you cut off the heads of Bob Arum, Lou Duva, Dan Goosen, and Kathy Duva and stuck them all together, they would still only have 1/4 of the synaptic acumen and visionary viscosity of one Al Haymon.

Fifty years in the future a temple will be built on the highest mountains of New York where a temple will be erected and named, The Temple Of The Boxing God Haymon. Every hopefful new boxer will make a pilgrimage to this temple to pray and give offering to the God Of Boxing, Altonious Haymonia, Keeper of The Perfect Pugilist Nirvana..

CBS/Showtime might not like him going to NBC now too. There were talks of him doing this with CBS and maybe that just hasn't been unveiled yet.

IDK if I am a fighter, I wouldn't want to fight on NBC sports to be honest.... idk...

Boxing God All is blessing Mayweather Promotions by setting the table with an assortment of delicacies upon which MP/Haymon fighters can feast and grow fat.
In 2 years MP/Haymon Promotions will have HBO, Showtime, PPV, ESPN, NBC all locked as tight as an Apple product.

    America LOVES monopolies!

I think Bernard Hopkins, the firing of Schaefer at Golden Boy, HBO, and Oscar's desire to get his promotional company back on HBO were responsible for that matchup moreso than Kathy Duva was.

You replace Duva with another promoter, and the fight still gets made. Keep her and replace anyone else, it doesn't.

She actually puts together the fight cards for NBCSports. Like Haymon, it's primarily been a showcase for the fighters she has signed. And it's been a disappointment.

I'm not thrilled that Haymon is going to monopolize that network's fights, like Duva did, but he's got more name fighters. And if he's putting up his own money, he's got to put on good shows or he's out $24 million.

That last Duva card on NBC wasn't even something you'd normally televise. They were fights you'd expect to find "off television" before the the six-hour Showtime boxing broadcast began.

It was a huge waste of an opportunity.

Since Haymon is not a promoter who is going to promote it?

Can't be Goldenboy or Top Rank Goosen Tutor not sure what direction they are going after Dan's death Rocnation and SMS you can forget about it all that leaves is someone like Lou Dibella maybe?
