A fighter has two ages, this is a well known fact

his age according to his birth certificate
and his age in boxing years

some fighters age much faster than others, you accumulate boxing years by being in ring wars and taking punishment, so face first brawlers will age way faster than defensive minded boxers.

An unhealthy lifestyle (drugs, booze, bad diet etc) also contributes when it comes to aging in BY, and we know Floyd lives a quite healthy lifestyle

That's why Morales is only one year older than Floyd (birthday age), but in boxing years he might be a decrepit 90yo

Cotto is a few years younger than Floyd, yet he's definetly older in BY, Cotto has been in wars, he's taken brutal beatings, Floyd hasn't. Pac is also obviously older than Floyd in BY, and Floyd apparently won't fight him until Pac reaches 200yo in BY, if at all

so what's Floyd age in BY?

I think he perhaps aged one year or two in his latest clashes with caveman Maidana

    my guess is ---around 29yo

Mayweather also trains all year around to stay in shape, surely the thousand of hours in the gym have an affect on the body. 36 min in the ring compared to how many hours training?
I'd say the training does more wear and tear than the actually fight.
Anyways, this every fighter has 2 ages is hilarious. Mayweather is 37 and that's it.

He's nearly 38 and he looked that old against Maidana. His legs are nearly shot and they are what has kept him from getting knocked out because he certainly hasn't keep guys off with his brittle pillow fists.

no, thats dumb, training includes periods of recovery, everything an elite athlete does in the gym follows a plan, they train hard but also give their body time to recover, that's why S/C coaches exist

the damage you take in the ring stays there, a punch that enters, never comes out again. everytime you take a hard punch to the head, a brain cell dies and stays dead, just to name one example

Marquez has managed to make the clock advance much slower thanks to Memo's magic, he might be a couple years younger than his birthday age at this point

Shane has been a 40 something for a good while, maybe 50 at this point

I respectfully disagree about the training. I agree with you about damage during a fight can stay with a fighter but what about all the sparring during training? Yes they have headgear but surely damage is being done just by the force. There are plenty of recorded knockouts and tko's with headgear so clearly damage is being done.
Also all the training of the body takes affect as well, that's why there are numerous amounts of injuries during training.

As for the marquez comments, I can't say if he was on roids or not but using PAC fans logic, he hasn't tested positive not once and there is no proof.
I understand your suspicions but then again I understand the suspicions about PAC after the hatton fight as well.
