THEY had this same thread all lined up and ready to go before Stevens stopped johnson in his previous fight. Expect a repeat performance when Geale loses again.
Do you realize that Mongols are Asian? But Kazakhs not Mongols and also Asian ethnicity. In Kazakhstan 63.1 % Kazakhs (Asian), 23.7 % Russian (Slavic), 2.9% Uzbeks (Asian), 2.1 % Ukrainians (Slavic) etc.
Then you tell me why fighters like Martyrosian and Darchynian aren't refered as Asians ? Armenia is further south of Kazakhstan, and just 12 hundred miles from it. :deal
Well GGG is half Korean. Since when are Koreans Mongols? And yes you did say he was Mongol. You're the stupid here. Everyone can see it. The part of Kazakhstan where he is from is in Asia. Only a small part of the country is in Europe. Hate to break it to you but your USSR argument is dumb as hell. Political factions have nothing to do with Geography. China could invade the United States. It still wouldn't make North America apart of Asia. You've been taken to school son. Now bow out of this thread and stop making a fool of yourself.
Golovkin was born in Kazakhstan, but he has no Kazakh heritage. His name "Golovkin" is an ethnic Russian name and he's a Christian. His father is from a town near Moscow, Russia and his mother is from North Korea. He's 1/2 White and 1/2 Asian.
I think this ends any talk of Stevens as a 'world class' middleweight Clearly he can punch hard, but there is far more to the game of boxing than simply being able to generate some power on a stationary heavy-bag. The unfortunate thing about this loss is that it will erode Stevens confidence even more, and it was that confidence which made him dangerous in the first place. Frankly, I still think the Jesse Brinkley fight took a lot of fire from him. His first two losses (one was avenged immediately) were not as devastating to his psyche as his last two losses (GGG and Ndam). He allows himself to be controlled on the outside, and never truly commits to closing the gap. However, as Teddy said, that is VERY difficult to do when you are facing a boxer and you DON’T THROW THE JAB. This problem is entirely due to his mentality, which is look for one big shot. That may work when you facing a chump, but when your facing a dedicated boxer who understands the game, it does not work. Another thing that stood out is just how open Stevens was during his ‘sedated bull’ reenactment. If Ndam would of committed to his right, there would of been more than just 1 knockdown. In fact, I think he could of stopped him if he intelligently pressed the action. I think we will see Stevens vs. Jermain Taylor (maybe the co-main event of Ndam vs. Soliman).
Stevens is a real good fighter. He got beat by a better one. Stevens tried. Head movement come forward style was OK. And he blocked alot of shots. Should of used multiple jabs to get inside. One punch at a time was not good enough.
Simply because Armenian belongs to the Armenoid race - sub-race of the Caucasoid race. Native Kazakhs on the other hands belong to the Mongoloid/Asian race.
Stevens screwed up my Throwdown fantasy. I would have won if he had won. I knew Stevens is so iffy in big fights he needs to see a sports Psychologist IMHO.
