I'm not the dry humorless ******* who can't get the point of the joke. It has nothing to do with his parents being dead- your weird mind has made some illogical connection.

I spelt it out clear as day what he meant, you just seem incapable of understanding it.Hopkins says he's from Mars, therefore his parents would be on Mars. Kovalev, like most others would have no idea if Hopkins parents are dead, and it doesn't even matter if they are, since what he says isn't insulting to them at all. It's playing on Hopkins saying he's from Mars.

I bring up that word a lot because it's the perfect word to describe mental abominations that can't comprehend the offensiveness of poking jokes at deceased people. If I could find another word to describe garbage like you then it would be simpleminded.

Hopkins' reference is clear. He's the first 50 year old to dominate in the most dangerous sport in the world the way he is, therefore claiming to be supernatural(or Alien) in return.

Different people have different standards for speech in this country. What is acceptable for one group no matter how malignant in nature is taken with a grain of salt while one specific group is held to a ridiculously high standard and every harmless little comment is taken out of context and a federal case is launched.

Make no mistake about it: The only reason Kovalev's comment is offensive to some is because Hopkins was on the receiving end. If the roles were reversed, they would no give a damn.
