Pac didn't take the test because he was juicing. 100mill on the line and both sides getting a 50/50 split. Why would anyone walk away from that unless they were guilty. Floyd also offered 40mill up front to fight him, if he leaves Arum, because Floyd don't want to do business with Arum. Pac turned that down as well. Pac is in no position to dictate anything. So he don't really want to fight Floyd or Arum don't want him to.

Oscar revealed that a lot of people are now starting to talk about the Cotto-Canelo showdown because they are getting tired of convincing Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao. “I think what’s happening now is that people are now starting to talk about not Pacquiao-Mayweather. They are starting to talk about Canelo-Cotto. It’s not the second best fight to be made. Now it’s becoming the best fight to be made. So something’s happening. People are getting tired of asking Mayweather to fight Pacquiao,” Oscar said.

Obviously, Oscar has pressed the right button when he said people are getting tired of asking the two tough fighters on the planet to sit down and solve their differences to make the mega fight between the two of them happen because until now, Mayweather is still not responding to Manny Pacquiao’s challenge

If Floyd wasn't serious there would have never been any negotiations at all. Manny did not approach Floyd for the fight. In fact, what has Manny ever done to try to make this fight? Hmm...let's see. "Ageeing" to sticking points AFTER balking when there are offers on the table? Even when approached directly by Mayweather, he balks and then hides behind his "trusted" advisor (the same guy that's making book deals behind his back...lol). This is not a guy who wants to do business. Not staying at the top? He was out boxed in one fight (but got a gift win) and then KO'D by Marquez in the rematch. Losing to Bradley (officially). Fighting guys coming of losses like Rios? And now this Algeri ****? Come on, man. He's done more to make this fight less interesting and meaningful than anything else.

That tells me that it's Manny who is not really serious. After this Algeri fight, I fully expect Manny to say "talk to my promoter Bop Arum", when asked about Mayweather. Then he will go and fight Alvarado or something.

Even if you just add the math this thread is beyond stupid. Pac and Mayweather fight at 147.. Even though Mayweather is 154 champion I don't consider him a 154 pound fighter. So, we'll just say both weigh around 150.
GGG fights at 160 and honestly he's a bit small for that weight class, but his power/ skills are enough to win the day thus far. So, Mayweather fights around 147, GGG fights at 160 = 13 pounds difference.
Pac fights at 147, Hopkins fight at 175 = 28 pound difference.

No way does Hopkins make a catchweight at his age, but I'd honestly give Pac a better chance of moving up to 175 and beating a 50 year old Hopkins than I would Mayweather moving up to 160 and beating GGG.

Remember Hopkins turned pro inside the CW limit and is a LHW now. I would not expect Pac or Floyd to face him at a catchweight, but Pac started his career at LFW which is 14 weight divisions lower to where Hopkins began his and 8 divisions higher than where Floyd began his, though Hopkins has fought many naturally lighter fighters and De La Hoya started at SFW like Floyd.
In answer I dont think Floyd or Pac should be having to go up anymore weight divisions if they dont choose to

the negotiations were initiated because they were meeting in the same weight class and both still prime atg's so it's inevitable not to fight or their own resumes will be questioned. but then initial negotiation seemed to be already a road block to avoid the fight at all cost with a first in floyd's career demanding extra ordinary drug testing from a one dimensional midget plus damaging accusations to discredit his accomplishments. not very characteristic of a true atg.....

Manny was a PED fraud who ran from the biggest fight of his career over drug testing. Then, karma made him end up face down on the canvas with **** dribbling down his legs as the world celebrated.

Ever since Floyd got out of jail, he has been ridiculous in his demands. Before jail, 99% team Pac. Even his own team says it was their fault.
