Pac's blatant ducking of Hopkins is just as bad as Floyd avoiding Ward. Their reluctance to face the best fighters 3 or 4 weight classes above them is despicable. What a pair of cowards.

This is almost as egregious as Roman Gonzalez not even mentioning Danny Garcia as his next potential opponent. These guys are killing this noble sport.

uhhhh cause Mayweather has fought for a 154 pound title. Golovkin has stated he can come down to 154. Pacquiao in no way can make 158 effectively and no way Hopkins can come down from light heavyweight down to 158. I mean really

 

The boxing world would never suggest a thing like that for Pac, because Pac is not as good as Floyd. When fighters from much higher weight classes are suggesting to fight you, you really are the man to fight. GGG, Hopkins, Ward, Martinez, even Jones jr was asked how would he do against Floyd. Asking Pac to fight Hopkins would be the joke at the party that one promoter would say to another, and followed by a sudden outburst of laughter. Something like that scene from Good fellas, when Ray Liotta told Joe Pesci (You really are a funny guy)

 

Well Pac won his first title at 112, 18lbs below Floyd's first title. It's amazing he's able to perform in his 7th weight class. Meanwhile Floyd is lineal (* catchweight) in his 5th, and yet too small to fight the best challengers there lol. That's what his fans keep saying, it's not fair for him to fight GGG at SWW, where he's #1 rated
