No.. By that logic, Pac and Floyd can't fight anyone without it being a cherry pick.. Even if Floyd or Pac refused to fight, they are the best option for both of them.. Unless you think one is so much better than the other, that one can fight anyone and the other can only fight one guy..(Woah) You get me...

Do you know what this thread is about? You throwing out names isn't doing anything here.. Define what a cherry pick is.. But give examples, not talk about Floyd, not trains why Floyd should not fight x, define what a cherry pick is.. Easy...

There's no one set criteria for it, but taking easier fights for less money than options that are realistically on the table for you is a good start.

I understand boxing's a business, which is why I'll actually give a guy leeway if he can get an easy payday. If he's passing up a better fighter and making more money to do it? That's a good start to "cherry pick" status.

People called Algieri a cherry pick for Provodnikov because he "had no chance."

How'd that work out for ya'll with the bookies?

As opposed to fighting guys that you know you'll lose to? Both fighters go through camp thinking they will win.. Unless one is that far down the skill rankings that they don't even come to fight...
