Your punch stats for Byrd/Vitali are irrelevant. At the end of 9 rounds, Vitali was up 88-83 on 2 cards and 89-82 on another, he had the fight in the bag....all while fighting with a torn shoulder for most of the fight. Again, these are facts.

Vittles was up on the cards and i agree with the scores, but that doesnt mean many of the rounds weren't close, this is what you fail to realize. And at the end of the day he quit. Dont try and say he had an injured shoulder the whole fight because he kept punching with that arm at the same rate the entire fight. If im not mistaken there was no mention ofban injury until the seventh round. The fact is he quit and was being lambasted by everybody for going out the way he did. He should have made it a priority to provee everyone wrong but chose not to. Had Lewis not fought him he would have always been remembered as the guy who quit against little Chris Byrd.

 

Wlad didn't want to get koed in less than 200 seconds by a neverman retiree twice in a row, it made good sense for him not to fight sanders again.

imagine if he had done, with the same result. imagine how his legacy would look, possibly one of the worst of any hw champ in history. imagine the shame ot poor wlad, being beaten more badly by a worse opponent than any hw in history. TWICE.

Vitali normally grinds fighters down and stops them late due to accumulation.

These 4 examples don't work.
1. What was Tyson best win after this fight? Etienne a glass-chinned
maximum mediocre(but weaker mediocre) fighter.
Plus Tyson was a post-prison and mental collapsed man.
I think he wasn't healthy at all.
2.Holmes had a decent carrier after this fight.
He beat the unbeaten prime Mercer( I think this Mercer was much more
better than the Lewis version Tyson).
Holmes went the distance with the prime Holyfield(Tyson couldn't),
a with the prime Mccall (Lewis couldn't).
Holmes wasn't a bad fighter against Tyson.But Tyson haters can't accept
this.And too many excuses around Holmes.
3.Holmes-Ali
After Holmes Berbick also beat Ali.This was Ali's last fight.
I think Ali was incredible ill against Holmes.This fight was a bull****.
4.Marciano-Louis I think it was Louis last fight.

We can see 4 losers Tyson,Holmes,Ali,Louis.
But jus Holmes had a good carrier after his loss.
Maybe he wasn't in prime but this was his only problem.
I think Tyson and Ali weren't healthy.
Joe Louis wasn't so bad but he didn't prove this after Marciano.

All in all the Tyson- Holmes is total other case.
Maybe Holmes wasn't in prime but he was a good fighter.
And his Mercer win was his one of the biggest success.
Holmes was 38 years old against Tyson.But he was 42 and he
could beat a good unbeaten prime fighter.
The difference between the Holmes case and Tyson,Ali,Marciano cases

The colour of a fighters skin or his nationality mean little to me. All I think about is can he fight. I have my friends & fav fighters of course but when two fighters get in the ring I always say he same thing
