Il be honest I didn watch Castillo or Chavez I mut get round to it but it was more than just haters who thought he lost to Castillo a lot of neutrals did. And in the first maidana fight I thought he did win clearly but it was tight

Maidana did what Cotto did and a bit more. He won a few rounds and made Floyd work for it. But he didnt win the fight.

the hate for Floyd is unreal, the haters talk about him all day every day. the haters are truly obsessed and troll he loses every somewhat close fight and loses every single fantasy fight.

the only round I remember giving cotto as a clear round was the 8th. if I remember correctly he took that round one sided but that was the only round that was clear cotto round for me.

the sad truth is even most true fans don't know how to score a round and don't really understand what's going on in each round. they watch and score with their heart not their head

I think it was the 6th you might be referring to.

On a side note, i really enjoyed Cotto/Mayweather. It was a great fight between a great fighter and a very good fighter. Very action packed and entertaining.

I remember at the time, outside of pacman, Cotto was the only one that proved a serious threat.

Most fans dont know **** about boxing, let alone scoring rounds.

completely agree, I enjoyed that fight immensely too. cotto cam prepared. I remember thinking in the 4th round if cotto agreed to the 8oz gloves it probably would had been over.

It was a fight that had been brewing for years and finally happened.

I felt a bit bad for Cotto after his next fight though. Cotto should never have lost to the likes of Trout.

    Mayweather-Algieri @ 144 = Algieri SD
    Mayweather-Bradley @ 147 = Mayweather UD
    Mayweather-Rios @ 147 = Mayweather UD
    Mayweather-Margarito @ 150 = Mayweather UD
    Mayweather-Clottey @ 147 = Mayweather UD

    Pacquiao-Maidana @ 147 = Pacquiao UD
    Pacquiao-Alvarez @ 152 = Alvarez TKO
    Pacquiao-Guerrero @ 147 = Pacquiao UD
    Pacquiao-*154lb Cotto @ 154 = Pacquiao UD
    Pacquiao-Ortiz @ 147 = Pacquiao TKO

I've got Algieri over Floyd due to his height, reach, movement, and jab. He's an outside fighter so Floyd wouldn't have much to counter. Margarito's another slow plodder... Pacquiao outboxes Maidana, Guerrero and Ortiz. He can't handle Canelo's offense. Cotto @ 154, same styles, just a bigger Cotto. I could see Pac boxing more and less engaging. Pac decisions but much closer this time.

agreed but that was closer than people claim. trout was just too big and too passive fro cotto. he didn't come prepared at all, lackidasikle (my own word). but yes he still should had been able to deal with him, I think he was still hung over from the huge Floyd loss

Floyd would go after chris with the high guard and not be too concerned about getting caught and would beat the **** out of chris. that isn't even a mismatch that's a absolute joke of a fight

Floyd would be the aggressor and make chris fold

Oscar was still drained to ****. A 135 lbs Pac would've beaten him that night. Victor Ortiz would've KO'd him that night.

Same here i think Cotto thought WTF is Trout. Ive got Canelo and Martinez lined up.

    He underestimated him.

Better prepared Cotto beats the **** out of Trout.

But at this particular time.....does anyone care for a rematch?

Cottos moved on to bigger/better things.
