I like Hops and have great respect for what he has achieved, but it's time for new blood to come through. Kov is exciting and can only be good for boxing.

70 here rooting for Kovalev, 60 for Hopkins.

I imagine all the American officials will be rooting for Hopkins though, so Kovalev will need a KO to win.

I just wan't to see a god fight but after listening of an interview with Kovalev trainer I'm favoring Kovalev. His trainer knows Hop very very well and he will prepare Kovalev to survive the dirty tactics.

both. big KO4Clev fan me, but it would be awesome for the near 50 year old to manage another proper defence.

I do not understand why Hopkins is taking this fight. He has very little chance of lasting 12 rounds, much less winning

Hopkins has the referee, the judges, experience and a lot of illegal tricks on his side (and probably the best designer PEDs too, since he refuses to be tested).

B-Hop's country will be behind him, the HBO commentators (especially Max Kellerman) will attempt to justify or just ignore any illegal tactics and fouls, as well as any acting out he does.

Hopkins actually has a very good chance of winning.

Yes. A Kovalev win is better for boxing.

Who will I be rooting for....Probably Kovalev

Who will win?? Barring a KO I think Hopkins is going to school him....Kovalev is good but limited....Unless Hopkins age has caught up to him I can't see him loosing to Kovalev...

Hopkins is an all time great....A prime Hopkins would TKO Kovalev in 9 or 10 rounds

Rooting for Kovalev to retire the old legend

Kovalev isn't anything that special really....He's a good/decent offensive fighter fighting in an incredibly weak division (current 175 division)....How would he have done at 160 in the 90's-early 2000's when Hopkins was fighting....Not that good I'd imagine since that was an actual stacked division..
