Will the ref in Germany be fair to Pulev or will Wlad be allowed to constantly hold?

Pulev has a style that don't make for frequent holding.

He likes to keep the distance, he fights from the outside, and is very light and mobile on his feet.

He also has the size to fight that way, and he never ducks low.

There won't be many clinches in that fight. It will be a war of attrition. A chess match. A jab simphony.

Co-sign. IMO this will be a boring jab-fest with very little clinching.

He got a Point deduction in the Povetkin fight, but it could be a few more in my eyes, but at the end it would had no effect if 120-104 or 115-104.

He destroyed Povetkins fight plan with that, so fight is over.

The words "again and you get disqualificated" should have left the refs mouth after 3-4 rounds.

A bit of clinching and a bit more in the later rounds, yeah why not, but not like in the povetkin fight.

Without his constant clinching ,Povetkin destroys Wlad.

This is what should happen in everyone of his fights.

I mean it's blatant cheating, right in front of the ref's eyes, yet usually nothing is said.. and not just a little bit.. he's holding like an octopus every 5-10 seconds.

In Brewster I the ref got on to him straight away... he clinched less and got KTFO.

Like it or not, the holding will always be there. I'll just pass on watching altogether.

Yeah sure, but when hopkins, ward, or mayweather does it, it's "highly skilled and savy veteran move :silly " !!

What cheating, you're just an hater, imagine how mad you would be if he started throwing full force hooks to the balls like Danny Garcia :deal

Some would call it a "technical fight between two pure boxers", but whatever

I think this will be an interesting fight, instead, because Pulev has a very good chin and a spectacular jab which he isn't afraid of abusing.

I think that style and size will trouble Wladimir a lot, and coupled with the fact Pulev has zero problems going twelve rounds with his stamina, the match could be really close, or even, who knows, some kind of an upset.

Maybe Pulev's incessant jab could close one of Wlad's eye :think

**** can always happens, and Pulev has ten times the chances of making it happen than Povetkin had.

The fact that Wlad had brough in 15 (15 :scaredas:) sparring partners for this fight should mean that they are aware of Pulev's danger.

I don't see it at all. Povetkin seems slow, doesn't like to engage, has a below-average punch. Wlad will completely dominate him from the outside and probably knock him out by round 7-9.

I don't see this fight being close at all simply because Pulev will try to box Wlad and you can't box him. You fight him and take him apart or you get knocked out.

I think Pulev gets him, IMO.
