No doubt Pac would've taken it a long time ago, Floyd's not a dangerous fighter. I don't blame Pac too much. It's his handlers, Bob in particular. Floyd and Arum can't work together but like I said, I place that more on Floyd's shoulders. At this point in time, I think Floyd is just being arrogant. After Pacquiao beat Bradley in the rematch and Floyd beat Maidana, that was the perfect time to make the fight.

Arum is name dropping with little to no intentions of making the fight. He says he wants Floyd, blah blah blah. Then Floyd says "let him beat Algieri" or "if the fight presents itself, let's make it happen". NOW Arum is talking about Pacquiao fighting in April. It's the same cycle between these two for years. Both of them actually benefit MORE from NOT fighting each other. It's ridiculous.

I think style wise, khan could cause FMJ problems, FMJ is still big favourite though.

Looking at the Ring rankings at WW, who else is there to fight? PACS the obvious one (different topic) outside of him who he hasn't fought, there's Thurman - never fought a top 10 fighter or had a world title fight, + Bradley ,brook, porter and alexander.

Khans basically in pole position by default rather than anything else, should he beat a top 10 WW in the next few months or so (alexander or Guerrero look the best options) he'd be more deserving of a shot than anyone else bar PAC.

Khan could of helped himself alot by being more active in the last few years, and though I'm a fan of his I'd be disappointed if he elects not to fight in Dec/Jan assuming the Floyd fight is his come May.

this is key, the reaons why i thought he would beat mayweather are dwindling with hunter, but he has looked very different from diaz to collazo , he may make another big step in terms of a style change, its hard to know if its in the right direction

The only people voting "Yes" are the same beggars that Khan paid 2 UK Pounds each to vote for him on the Mayweather polls. No one in their right minds would honestly give Khan a chance against Mayweather.

of the top of my head you have roy jones, you have paulie malignaggi, jim lampley and he refers to others in his contacts who feel its a stylitic chalenge. Then i heard a few before the mayweather maidana fight saying khan had a betetr chance than maidana or was a stylitic challenge porters father may have been one

I don't know if he is a legitimate threat to Floyd but he is the closest thing to it other than Pacquiao.

And I'll be surprised if he actually fights Khan

Roy Jones? He would say that, he has a lot in common with Khan.

Malignaggi is entitled to his opinin and Lampley has never laced a pair in his life so i wouldn't really call him an expert.

    well done, that's three people.

so what other trainers, former fighters, experts pick Khan to beat Floyd?
