So this is Floyd's haters way of trying to claim a victory over Floyd? Glorify any fighter Floyd didn't fight even though they got KO'd by fighters Floyd did fight?

I think he had to wait 18 months if my memory serves me correctly and still he wasn't sure if he was coming back.

he actually came back with the sole intention of the pac fight. that got all messes up by Floyd and arum.

that's truly the reason he was coming back and fought jmm. pac was supposed to be next but ego's f$#%d it all up.

Algieri is taller, bigger, has a good jab and nice footwork. Considering how things went with Provo, I think it's safe to say he has a hell of a heart and the will to win. I personally like the guy and think he could do very well for the sport. I believe he will also do well in this fight, more than some seem to think.

All that said, there are levels to this, as has been pointed out by others. Pac is several steps above in terms of skill and experience. His footwork and hand speed will allow him to control the distance and pot shot Algieri with right hooks and lead lefts. He wins a UD in a lackluster affair.

I wonder why Arum okayed this fight for Pacquiao because imo, Algeri's style is all wrong for him..

PAc is an amatuerish fighter and i dont think he'll handle the range and the style of Algeri..

Manny should win this fight easy. Algerie doesn't have the power to ko Manny. Look for Manny to be "too kind" again in this fight as we settle in for a 12 rd ud.

It's never easy to beat a mobile opponent who shys away from confrontation which is exactly what Algeri is.. on top of that the guy has a significant height and reach advantage that he can make use of...

Algeri dont need to knock Pac out to win.. He can win on the cards..

    This might be like Morales-Raheem...

I have many times before but once more...

All Tony Margarito did wrong was LEGITIMATELY make Miguel Cotto kneel & QUIT!!!! before him. Tony wasn't supposed to win . Cotto was.
Then Oscar was going to face Cotto & winner probably fight Floyd.
BUT Tony screwed that up because both Oscar & Floyd were scared shitless of Margarito neither wanted to fight him. Floyd "retired" to avoid him Remember?? lol
That lying worthless POS Richardson started this pantomime off with his blatant lie about blocks in the wrap :patsch Then the CSAC went ape**** crazy & suspended Margarito with no Proof of wrongdoing.
The CSAC have never proven there was anything more sinister in that wrap than a harmless used pad. Which accounts for them never indicting Margarito for anything, because they had NOTHING to indict him on.
Whjile the pantomime was going on Shane Mosely was slipped through juiced to the gills which was the idea all along.
The only CHEATS involved were Nazim Richardson, The CSAC & Shane Mosely. Margarito was railroaded A real black eye for boxing
